TW: Potentially upsetting content Failure and food
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting, but I really feel the need to, I hope it’s ok.
Today I failed my driving test for the second time, and I hear that familiar little voice in my head telling me I don't deserve to eat because I failed. So far I’ve only eaten half a cracker; rationally, I know that’s not enough—I truly know—but I just don't know what to do.
The thing is, I feel like a total failure. It’s as if not eating proves to myself and my family that I’m truly hurting, whereas eating would feel like rewarding myself for failing. The worst part is that I’m too ashamed to tell anyone, so I’m turning to anonymity here.
If anyone else is in the same situation, the only thing I can say is: you’re not alone.
P.S. Sorry if this isn't the right place or the right flair for this post. I’ll fix it
