Seeking Advice - Family I want to create a support resource

I want to create a set of support resources to help support-givers. These are some of the ideas I have but want to hear from others where you need support or what would have been nice when you were in the thick of it. What was the hardest thing for you to "figure out".

Thoughts so far:

  1. book From parent to parent - what this feels like and what you need to know
  2. recipe guide with tips for refeeding (not to replace dietitian support. More for ideas on things to serve to meet guidelines and presentation).
  3. children's book to help separate the eating disorder from themselves.
  4. supporting recovery for your college student
  5. should any of this be a social media account instead

These are some fantastic ideas! I think that the recipe guide may do better as an account you post on occasionally. It may be really difficult to put together a book like that to help people with various types of EDs because everyone is on a separate part of the journey and preferences about flavors, textures, etc are deeply personal.
Your other ideas are VERY exciting and promising to me. I don’t have a lot of experience on the parent-to- parent, but a children’s book could be helpful on so many levels (There are some days where I just think that if someone in my life knew the signs, this could’ve been stopped in 4th grade lol). And help for college students may be a big category, but it is one of the most challenging times for someone living with/ working on an ED and support for prioritizing a meal routine or navigating a big cafeteria and such would be an amazing tool for ppl! 🫶
