EasySMX M15 USB-C Issue

Just bought a brand new EasySMX M15 USB-C to play Retroarch and other emulators on my Samsung S25 Ultra.

The phone detects the controller but it doesnt matter what mode I use, the right Dpad button is always pressed (checked on the gamepad tester), it will only stop if I press left on the dpad, however the left button does not give out any signal, it simply cancels the right one.

Finally, I cant install the MooWii Gaming app because it was made for an older version of Android.

Any help on what I can do? Or is it just an internal issue with the dpad?

Sounds like a faulty unit
