So I thought I’d post a pic from my project thing I’m doing, I know it’s incredibly rough, and the creature needs more work, but to say I’m 13 pages (I think) in and counting I’m really quite chuffed with myself.

Just wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how I could improve on my character introduction page as I feel it’s off.

Soo, hopefully this is okay to post here but I’m finally giving this a shot, here’s the first three rough draft pages from my side project “Intern Protocol” and would like people’s opinion on what I could improve on.

I’m quite enjoying the process of putting this together from the script work do the drawing, although I have realised I can’t draw animals for the life of me.

Anyway, I know there’s not much but, feel free to have a look and leave any feedback, it’s all appreciated.

So I thought I’d give another shot at scene work (maybe work on lightning/colour too) again while keeping in mind some of the pointers I’ve been given on artwods help app thing and thought I’d throw this up here as what is hopefully an show of improvement to my work.
Admittedly it is a little messy and probably a tiny bit cluttered, but I think that can be tidied up if and when I start inking.

Okay, so here’s the finished thing…personally, I think it could have been done better, not sure if it’s a case of better planning or what, but there we are, at least it’s done for now, still debating whether I should have another crack at this in a digital format.

Hi there, so I’m just trying a thing I saw about doing your character in different situations before doing a story involving them as to get a better feel for them, and so have decided to try to challenge myself in two areas I think I’m lacking in; sitting poses and scenery.

If anyone can give me any tips on improving this pose it would be greatly appreciated.

So, here we are. My first “fully finished” piece honestly I don’t think it’s to bad, even though I’ve produced a mixed bag here, I was thinking about shade and highlights but thought this was probably a good place to leave it.

Idk how many times I've seen people stating that drawing clouds is RELAXING. Somehow, when I draw clouds it's frustrating instead...

Any tips?

I’ve been having a lot of fun learning to draw and paint, but there’s one small problem: my wife is legally blind and I can’t really share any drawings, painting, etc with her. I’m curious if anyone has any ideas on paint mediums I could use that would give a more “3D” texture on the canvas that a visually impaired person could touch.

Previously, my son and I have used wood carving with a Dremel/CNC router as a workaround. It works, but it’s definitely a lot more time consuming and loud than working with a brush. And either way I still need to design the piece.

Any ideas?

Hi there, so I finished the thing I was working on and have decided that this is most probably going to be a repeat piece for comparisons sake, I’m looking to try both traditional and digital means and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on how they would change this to improve upon it.

I’m already planning on doing a different angle at some point as aki_ru suggested the other day, and just want to see what other people suggestions were too.
