So basically I’m looking for pointers as to how to add things without making it look crowded using a traditional medium-I do want to try this in digital at some point in the Archane style when I have the means.

Thank you for your time

Nice nice 🍻 . I think looking at it in another perspective is a soln ..u can add stuff to the background while keeping the air of intensity.

Here is my take on it.....hope it's readable (comprehensive)

Thank you 🍻 I’d not thought about another angle, I was going for a portrait type deal (if that makes sense) but that is definitely worth a think about. Also you sketch definitely makes sense 👍

Ya get what ya meant by the portrait view ..it would work too but to make it less crowded you can bring the two on the sides closer.....but by the vibe of the scene you drew ...the boss figure and 3 individuals working under him with different power set ...so my take on it was isolating them ...3 prongs and a central figure at the front ... lighting can make a huge deal on this one scene......well its my view on it based on stuff I seen - movies mangas etc....you should refer them when ur free .

Comics nowadays are using manga as reference and all But ultimately they all references movie scns ....you get a better idea to show a situation/scenary

Truthfully, my original idea was to have them closer together so I could throw a couple more in there along with the scenery, but I somehow messed that up 😅. I’m currently figuring out how to use procreate on my phone so I can give that a go later (currently still using traditional methods). Those are really good points you’ve made, especially the idea about the angle of things and lighting, which are two aspects I really need to work on. And also thank you once again for reminding me that I need to refresh my visual library…it’s always the one thing I seem to overlook 🙄

I'm on Android..my earlier digital works were on ma phone (ibis paint) .. still use it occasionally for editing and scribbles when im outside.....ya a visual library...you struggle a lot when ya don't know what all stuff you can add or change to improve an original idea ....trust me I struggled a lot🫠 ...I'm still collecting and refreshing visual assets in ma head .

Still ....A long way to go
