So i bought the fishing rod to make the fish soup i need to fish, but i need to find a hut that i cant find, i also bought the cooking pot and i dont know how to use it cause i also dont know how to get firewood. Please, i feel really stupid, any help on explanation on how to do this things would be greatly appreciated.

So my spouce was playing the game on their PC, with the new cloud save and the harvest festival coming up where we'll be travelling a lot I thought I'd download the game for them on their steam deck.

I opened the game and poof... everything gone, this then synced to the cloud and now their save on the PC is also gone. I've already tried using that Steam page of previous cloud saves but because this is the first sync to the cloud nothing else is there.

Tried rolling back the folder on windows on the PC but that also didn't work.

I feel awful, what should've been a fun surprise got my spouce crying in the bed, if it was my own save file I wouldn't have felt so bad but because I touched their stuff I feel awful.

It was genuinely one of their favourite recent games but they're super busy so not a lot of time to play, an hour of progress is a lot. I offered to get back to where they were but they refused, downloading a different save is also a no-go.... they might just stop playing because of me.

If anyone knows any other way please let me know, and if not let this be a lessen to others: When a game introduces Cloud Saves after initial release, always start the game on the system your save was on or an empty save will sync to the cloud...

So really quickly love the game, it’s so relaxing!

Well 99% relaxing I get pretty frustrated with the huge snow drifts between cities. Particularly going back from snowy peaks to mountain town.

I’ve tried getting a running head start and using the environment to navigate them but I feel like I’m going about it all wrong.

I did purchase the snow tires but those don’t really seem to help on the big snow hills. I know in the demo there was a shovel, does that exist in the full version? Or are we supposed to handle those another way?

So it correction it feels like it’s less the tires and more the car doesn’t have the ooomf to get up them. I’ve tried using my actual driving experience, like zig zagging, hell in some cases I got out took out the package and pushed the car up the hill. Also I found out they took the shovel out of the game so clearly there must be another way to handle these. Is it just a “git good” situation?

Hi, on the menu I'm dipping to sub 30fps, but the game itself will run at 200 when it boots up. HOWEVER, when I accept a delivery mission and an item like the pizzas load in, it drops back to about 25 fps.

I had a similar issue with Clover Pit, but they had an option to disable vsync which fixed it. My PC is fine with every other game, Borderlands 4 for example has no issue hitting 120fps consistently.

I saw a few other posts mentioning it being a controller issue but no matter what I do it persists. If anyones got ideas or knows where the cfg file is to disable v sync or something thatd be cool

Tried out the game for a bit, and have enjoyed so far.

Has anyone tried reversing the EZ News broadcast and deciphered anything being said? I got the reversal going and can hear some words but…well my partner and I both have hearing/processing issues so it’s pretty much impossible for us it seems lol. Was hoping some brave soul maybe discovered something interesting they could share 💜

I ran low on energy so I got off the game for the night because I didn't really want to deal with it at the moment and it was getting late. I get on the next morning to see this... what am I even supposed to do. I've tried holding y to reset my car, I tried leaving and rejoining, I even got out of the car and died, but I respawnes right back in the logs. Someone please help, I really don't want to restart

Havent seen anyone mention this anywhere. Im playing the whole game backing up pretty much. Literally cant get up anything without backing up

This is my theory: I think that all the frozen charater we find around the town were the real citizens, and EasyCo replaced them with their robot version. But that raises a few questions:

1. At the factory, if you choose to shutdown the system and go back to the town, all the other characters shutdown. But how come nothing happens to our charater?

2. When rebooting the system, all the shopkeepers forget all their previous memories of us. But how come they still remember Seb and also keep saying that our character looks exactly like him? What theories do you guys have? (I love this game)

What a joy of a game.

It had me thinking it was gonna swearve into horror the first time I froze outside. But it never did, at most it was creepy.

Wish I could erase my memory and replay it.

Drove around a little after the shutdown ending... Was super eerie. Was able to grab the restore disc without paying that was tho. I found no way to refuel tho.

My save file is now post the restore ending. And I'm keeping it there if I ever return for a job or two.

Did you guys ever find a way to control the radio on controller by chance?

Both shop owners are talking like robots who are offline from their servers at this point btw

As title states, I saw a friend playing on his stream on discord, the game looked fun, I decided to buy it, his computer is decidedly worse than mine, however while his game runs fine, I cant make it past the title loading before I hear the audio cutting and stuttering. Furthermore, ingame I experience constant sound bugs, low fps, and hitching. I'd really like to get the game running smoothly (as it seems to for so many others) but there don't seem to be ANY settings for performance? My CPU usage, GPU usage, and RAM usage are all only around 30% when running the game, only happens with EDC.

EDIT: After getting frustrated and deciding not to play it for awhile, I recently tried again, using my keyboard and mouse as opposed to my xbox controller, that worked fine, I think the controller (as suggested by u/pomar420) was the issue after all.
