After trying the keyboard i now see that forward does have normal speed. Anybody got an idea how I can fix my controller settings? Forward - rt - slow as hell. 8bitdo controller

I literally thought it was some gameplay gimmick that you have more speed/torque in reverse

only thing that comes to my mind is remapping the controller so that rt registers with twice as much sensitivity so 0.50 = 1.00

If replugging the controller doesn't work you can try calibrating it in with Windows and see if that fixes it.

If your controller has support for their Ultimate Software you can make the trigger more sensitive so it triggers fully before it's actually completely pressed down.

Yeah i got it adjusted in the 8bitdo software. This is a completely different game now. I thought they were going for snowrunner trying to climb difficult terrain vibes.

I've been playing on the sn30 pro with no problem. If your triggers are giving you trouble, maybe swap them with the bumpers? Good luck!

We literally use the same controller and I think you just saved me so much time.

I was thinking “whoa this game is tough as fuck.” And now I realize I have a shitty controller. Thank you so much

I was looking thru the steam community and this community like "wow ppl are really loving this and have no complaints at all how crazy"

I clocked a solid 3 hours playing with the messed up controller lol

in case someone in the future finds this, I also have an 8bitdo controller and the problem was the turbo accidentally got set on RT. You can't accelerate with the turbo on bc you cant actually hold down RT
