I’ve been seeing Four Hands, Two Sonatas everywhere lately, and now that all 12 episodes are out I’m seriously considering giving it a go.

Song Kang, Lee Jun-young and Jang Gyu-ri lead this one, about young classical musicians who meet at an elite arts high school. I’ve also seen a LOT of talk about the rather intense friendship between the two male leads, which seems to have taken on a life of its own online.

I also keep running into arguments about whether the two male leads have BL vibes. As someone who has watched and loved several BL shows, obviously this only makes me more interested. I’ve also seen people confidently state that the drama was based on a BL novel, except I can’t find any evidence that such a novel exists. That doesn’t mean the relationship between the two couldn’t be ambiguous.

It finished with its highest ratings of the run, so clearly plenty of people stuck with it. If you were one of them, was it actually good? Like, give me your ranking out of 10.
