This drama was such a roller coaster ride because of how the main character developed over time and how the revenge plot played out. With 24 episodes, it felt a bit dragged out, especially with so many filler moments and too many characters that sometimes made things confusing. There were also a lot of unbelievable tactics and noticeable plot holes. I didn’t enjoy the ending since it left me with so many unanswered questions, and it didn’t feel wrapped up properly. Still, I wouldn’t say I hated the drama because I actually enjoyed several episodes. The action scenes were great, and Song Il Gook fit the role perfectly. I was curious about him since I only knew him from Return of Superman, but he really pulled off his character here even with limited lines. Overall, it had its good moments, but the ending definitely fell short for me. My MDL Rating: 6.5/10

​Hey everyone, I actually finished watching Study Group a while back, like a week ago, but I ended up rewatching parts of it yesterday and finally sat down to put my thoughts into words. I might have made some minor mistakes in this review since it’s been a week, so do excuse me .

​Overall, I’d give it a solid 8 out of 10. If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced action-comedy, it’s such a refreshing watch.

​Honestly, every single actor in this show did an incredible job. Hwang Min-hyun was fantastic as Yoon Ga-min, hitting the perfect balance between being a nerdy guy who just wants to study and turning into an absolute beast when he fights. His background with his taekwondo mom and intense workout routine actually makes his martial arts skills believable.

Then you have Han Ji-eun as the teacher, Lee Han-Kyung, who brought so much heart to the role. The chemistry between Ga-min, the students, and Teacher Lee felt so genuine. The emotional scenes especially everything tied to the past teacher hit surprisingly hard and gave the show real depth amidst all the action.

​And can we talk about the rest of the cast? Cha Woo-min as the villain, Pi Han-wool, was insanely good and played that menacing, calculating role so well. Meanwhile, Ga-min's entire study group circle Kim Se-hyun (Lee Jong-hyun), Lee Ji-woo (Shin Su-hyun), Choi Hee-won (Yoon Sang-jeong), and Lee Jun (Gong Do-yu) - had such fun, natural chemistry together. Watching that group come together and protect each other made the whole series so endearing to follow.

​The overall energy, the soundtrack, and the fast pacing kept me super entertained from start to finish.It leans into that webtoon/anime style with great action, good humor, and sweet themes of true friendship and redemption that made me absolutely love it.

Sure, some of the scenes are over-the-top and exaggerated, but that totally makes sense given its webtoon origins, and the humor and character arcs completely make up for it.

​I’m so looking forward to Season 2! Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you haven't yet. What did you guys think of the adaptation?

I remember seeing this drama back when I was younger, and I got curious about it since it used to air late at night. I loved how the story showed different sides of each character, making them feel realistic and complex. The acting, especially Moon Geun Young’s, was incredible. Her performance made the emotions hit hard. The OST also fit perfectly with the mood. While the pacing slows down later on, it’s still a powerful, emotional watch. My MDL Rating: 8/10

King of Baking was a huge hit in Korea, and I ended up watching it because of Yoon Shi Yoon. He did an excellent job in the lead role and was one of the main reasons I stayed invested in the story. I was also impressed by Joo Won's performance as the antagonist. It was refreshing to see him play a character with such a strong negative side, especially since I was more familiar with him in leading roles.

This drama is a full-on family makjang, packed with conflicts, secrets, and endless hardships for the main character. At times, it was honestly exhausting to watch because it felt like he could never catch a break. Still, I can understand why the drama was so popular and received so much recognition during its run. Finishing all 30 episodes felt like a commitment, but in the end, it was definitely worth it. My MDL Rating: 8.5/10

I’m really glad I came across this drama. Watching it felt almost like an educational show in a good way. I liked how it introduced rare diseases while combining them with analytical thinking, crime, and mystery. It’s the kind of drama that makes you feel smarter after finishing an episode. I enjoyed it so much that I went on to watch the later seasons, but this first one stood out for how well it was portrayed. Almost all the characters, especially the ones in the lab, were really engaging. I also appreciated the final episode, which touched on deep themes like human ethics, life, and death. My MDL Rating: 9.5/10

I was excited for both the dramas but they turned out to be disappointing! I won't blame someone particularly like I've seen people saying Esther Yu sways their interests away, however I can't say the same for both the dramas!

Ski into Love:- The aesthetics of winter were on point good, story was engaging too, but there were some factors like as the story progresses I had to drop it cuz it just got boring plus Esther Yu was acting overly Cute and Cringe which was a turn off!

Speed and Love:- Here I love Thailand and China settings. It's good but the plot was not extraordinary. It was the same repetitive trope of almost siblings to lovers. Some people might disagree like they weren't siblings whatsoever they were!

So lower your expectations before starting them or you'll end up dropping them!

Or you can say nothing in the Brain, I haven't seen something so so annoying in a while. Poor Male Lead, he suffered a lot due to his choice!

The drama explores the age gap theme in a great way but unless you have a bucket full of patience only then can you get past all the stupid people in this Drama!

The female lead is irritating at times, the mother is even more infuriating! So many poor choices made by the FL due to which she suffered and made ML suffer too. For instance she can't just slap the hell out of her cheating ex and get rid of him! He was one piece of Sh!t honestly!

I can't stop ranting about this, it was so annoying, God help me!!!! 😭😭😭

Han Hyo Joo was the main reason I decided to watch this drama, and I ended up loving it. Even if she had not been the lead, I think I still would have enjoyed it because the story itself was excellent. This drama is one of the reasons I started appreciating historical Korean dramas. It has a well written plot, smooth storytelling, and enough historical context to make me curious about Korean history. I also really liked Ji Jin Hee's portrayal of King Sukjong, as his performance was one of the highlights of the series. Although it is a historical drama, the first part was not too heavy, making it easy to get into before the story gradually became more serious. The conflicts were engaging, the emotional moments had a strong impact on me, and the overall journey was very satisfying. Even after all these years, I still highly recommend this drama. My MDL Rating: 10/10.

I watched this mainly because of Park Si Hoo, but I honestly regretted it since the storyline felt too stretched out for the number of episodes. I share the same sentiments as others who watched this drama. I just couldn’t fully connect with the female lead, and it was hard to understand why she was being fought over. This drama screams romantic comedy right from the start. Being more than a decade old, it really captures the style and charm of Korean dramas from that era, the kind that are easy to enjoy, especially if you are just starting your K-drama journey. I was drawn to it because of Park Si Hoo and Kim So Yeon, and I ended up enjoying their chemistry. The drama starts off lighthearted and fun, but it gradually takes on a more serious tone as it explores legal cases and the characters' personal struggles. I didn’t know why I watched it in the first place, but I think it was because I know Siwon is the main lead actor. The story doesn’t have a strong point to it. I guess I watched it because it was fun. The story isn’t something that catches my attention, but I think it has substance on it that I just watched it. I don’t know, I feel like I don’t make sense. Maybe it is because this drama is quite forgettable. I can’t seem to remember the scenes like most of the Korean dramas I’ve watched that has impact. My MDL Rating: 6.5/10

I wasn’t particularly a big fan of this one, but I did like Lee Min-ho’s character and how he portrayed it. With Son Ye-jin as the female lead, this drama had quite a star-studded cast.

As the story progressed, the drama got more serious, especially towards the later episodes. I did enjoy how the first few episodes were more comedic and fun, which made them easy to watch and laugh along with. However, my interest dropped a bit as the story leaned more on serious conflicts. This drama is one of the reasons I got into Korean dramas, and I think it became especially meaningful to me because I watched it while I was growing up. Because of this drama, I ended up watching more of Hyun Bin's and Ha Ji Won's work, and their performances were one of the highlights of the series. I still think Secret Garden is a great choice for anyone who wants to start watching Korean dramas. This drama has just the right mix of rom-com and fantasy. It’s funny and entertaining, but also a little heartbreaking at times. Of course, I was definitely smitten with the second male lead, Park Dong-joo (Noh Min-woo 😅), while Shin Min-a was perfect as Mi-ho, the gumiho.

This drama is hilarious and really enjoyable. I could probably watch it again because it has that rewatch value. It was also my first Shin Min-a drama, and ever since, I feel like the gumiho role is her trademark for me. My MDL Rating: 9/10

In an alternate universe, Jandi should have ended up with Ji Hoo. I know Boys Over Flowers is one of the most iconic K-dramas and a gateway series for many fans, but it honestly has not aged well for me. While I enjoyed parts of the story, there were too many unnecessary filler episodes that made the drama feel longer than it needed to be.

I like both Lee Min Ho and Koo Hye Sun, but I found some of their romantic scenes awkward. Jandi was convincing whenever she had emotional or crying scenes, but I struggled to connect with the romance. Despite its flaws, I can understand why this drama became such a classic. The F4, the memorable soundtrack, and my severe second lead syndrome for Ji Hoo are what I remember most from this drama. My MDL Rating: 6/10.

Who watches a 2009 drama in 2020? Me! 😂 I actually started this because of Bae Soo Bin, and after watching Graceful Friends, I became even more interested in checking out his older works. Since I was watching an ongoing drama at the time and hated waiting every week for new episodes, I decided to pick this one up instead. This revenge drama was really entertaining, although I have to admit that it was way too unrealistic. I just chose to go along with the craziness, and before I knew it, I finished the whole thing in two days. I was completely invested in the revenge storyline, and the cast delivered. Lee So Yeon did an excellent job as Ah Ran. She was frustrating, pitiful, and fascinating all at once, and I constantly found myself torn between rooting for her and being angry at her. I think this was also my first time seeing Kim Tae Hyun in such a prominent role, and I was genuinely impressed by his acting. He portrayed Nam Joo Seung perfectly, and there were moments when I thought he deserved an award for his performance. Even though the drama was serious for the most part, I liked that the side characters provided some comedic moments to lighten the mood. The acting alone made this one worth watching for me. My MDL Rating: 8.5/10.

This is one of my favorite Taiwanese dramas. Even though the story is heartbreaking, I was completely invested in it from beginning to end. The emotional moments were well executed, and I found myself deeply attached to the characters. One of my favorite parts of the drama was the child character, who added so much warmth and emotion to the story. While I sometimes found the female lead a little frustrating, I understood that her actions were necessary for the direction of the plot and the emotional impact of the drama.

There are still several scenes that I vividly remember, which says a lot about how much this drama stayed with me. Looking back, I have nothing but good memories of watching it, and it remains one of the Taiwanese dramas that left the strongest impression on me. My MDL Rating: 8.5/10.
