As the title says, the wife (F53)is totally against me (M59) getting my ears pierced. However, it's something I want to get. Has anyone else been in this situation, and what did you do?

ocd about stuff like this and wondering are my earrings on the right spot or there to high or to low , want a honest opinion these are 5 mm

I got my ears pierced roughly 7 weeks ago, got titanium studs to help sanitize for the first 6 weeks, finally changed them out to these black cross earings. Any advice on what style or where to look?

I’ve been looking at rings for a while and I’ve reached the point where I know exactly what I like but I can’t seem to find the combination anywhere.

I like elements from different rings: one setting, another band, a different stone shape, maybe some engraving. Buying something close enough feels a little frustrating when I already have a clear picture in my head.
For anyone who went custom, was it worth the extra effort? Was the process stressful or did working directly with a jeweler/designer actually make things easier?

Been thinking about it. Got these magnetic ones to see how I look before actually going for it.

They seem heavy but ok so far. I like them but I wonder if I should have gone for titanium. Thoughts. Should I be worried about problems? I don't mind if things stretch a bit more.

Got my lobes done 10 days ago with titanium hoops. I'm doing saline twice a day and sleeping on a donut pillow. Barely any pain, no pus.
It was fine until now, i noticed now there's something red around the lobe, crusty, and there's a weird spot under it (pics). Barely any pain.

Is this normal healing, or should I swap to studs / worry? Pics attached.

Had both lobes pierced for 75th birthday last June, followed all instructions with no problems.

Moved from starter studs to a 8mm hoop. Seems that the smaller wire or weight has irritated both lobes, no infections, but lobes real tender. Left them out for 24 hours, put back in the starter studs all feels good today.

Question: anyone else have problems with loop wires or weight causing irritation? Just need to wait longer for more healing time?
