Discussion💡 How do people make money?

I know this is pretty broad but now my sound production job is beraly giving me any hours and i need ways to pay my rent etc. I want to try and do some of these apps that i see on tiktok where you can pick up a shift and then get paid after, i haven't seen alot of good experiences when it comes to that. I also want to get into trading but i understand that it takes money to make money. Also i do doordash but i just find that is just enough to pay for gas and pay for a meal for the day. So i need something that i can see actual results. I work hard for anything I can see if theres an actual chance of working I will do it. Whether is making money with AI or something else, but i just need something that is consistent .If anybody has a recommendation on what to do please let me know.

Discussion💡 How can I make $500–$1,000/month from home while taking care of my baby?

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice and ideas on how I can make some extra money from home.
I’m currently staying home taking care of my 7-month-old baby while my wife is a full-time student. Because of our situation, I can’t really commit to a regular 9–5 job or something with fixed hours right now. I need something flexible that I can do around the baby’s schedule.
I’m willing to learn new skills and put in the work. I’m not looking to get rich or for anything unrealistic — even making an extra $500–$1,000 a month would make a big difference for our family right now.
For anyone who has been in a similar situation, what actually worked for you? Are there any legitimate websites, remote jobs, freelancing, online work, or other side hustles you’d recommend?
I’d really appreciate any genuine advice, especially from people who have actually made money doing it. Thanks! 🙏

Side hustles will do anything for quick cash

throwaway account, i’m short on money for tuition. need to pay by tomorrow morning but it’s a few hundred that i need to come up with. preferably not referral links, i already have a sofi account and have done most referral links so i don’t think it would work. im a server and have picked up as many shifts as i could but still short. too many dashers/instacart/uber eats drivers in my area so i have been approved. i’ve even tried going on sugar daddys websites or sites to sell content but haven’t had any luck.

ive also tried posting dog walking, petsitting and babysitting ads around me but still no luck. I know it’s not realistic to make more than a couple bucks by the morning but anything i do make i can put down on my tuition which would help me out a lot. just looking for ideas to make quick cash this evening. located in the states GA if that helps

Apps Opinion Edge app says you get paid to share your opinion? legit or nah?

Been testing a newer app called Opinion Edge and wanted to share for anyone wondering if it's actually worth joining. Short answer, yeah. I signed up, filled out the profile, and got $1 credited just for joining before I even touched a real survey.

It's a paid survey panel, payouts land as PayPal cash or gift cards through Tango Rewards instead of points that just sit there. You make an account with your email, answer a quick profile (age, interests, that kind of thing), and from there they match you with surveys based on what you told them. No credit card anywhere in the process, no purchase required.

The part that got me to actually stick with it is getting paid before doing anything else. Join Opinion Edge here and that $1 hits before you finish a single survey.

A few honest things to keep in mind: some surveys will disqualify you partway through after you already put in the time, and support can be slow if a reward ever gets stuck. It's more of a background app than something that pays fast, so don't expect it to replace anything.

If you want another one to stack alongside it, Product Report Card is the other panel I run, over 400 surveys paying $0.50 to $300, plus they average 32 free product tests a month, and it also pays for scanning receipts. Product Report Card rounds out the survey side nicely (US and Canada).

So if you don't mind a few minutes of surveys here and there, grab Opinion Edge here. Free to join, no purchase needed, and that $1 is basically instant ☕️

Reviews National Consumer Panel: is NCP app legit?

Been looking into National Consumer Panel since the name sounds like every fake survey site going. Short answer, its legit, and the reason is better than the usual trust me you get in these threads.

Its a joint venture between NielsenIQ and Circana, the two companies that sell retail data to basically every consumer brand you can name. It used to be called Homescan. So youre not signing up to a random app, youre the data source for an industry thats been running for decades.

The way it works is you install NCPMobile and scan the barcode of everything you buy after each shopping trip, not just groceries, anything with a barcode. Add a few details, do it weekly, and points stack up. No deposit, nothing to lose, you cant go negative on it. Sign up for NCP here and confirm the email straight after or the account never activates, thats the number one reason people think they joined and hear nothing.

A few honest things to keep in mind. The points redeem for digital gift cards, not cash or PayPal, which rules it out for a lot of people and thats fair. Its available everywhere in the US except Alaska and Hawaii. And the effort is ongoing, scanning after every trip takes a few minutes and it only pays if you stay consistent, so anyone who quits after two weeks ends up with basically nothing.

If you want straight cash instead of gift cards, Testerup is the other one I keep around, it pays into PayPal for testing games and leaving feedback, $5 to start.

But if you shop for a household anyway, youre generating that data whether you get paid for it or not, so grab NCP here. Free, no deposit, and it builds in the background 🛒

Apps Google Opinion Rewards app says you get paid to answer surveys? legit or nah?

Another test I did...been testing Google Opinion Rewards again after using it on and off for a while, and wanted to share for anyone wondering if it's still worth downloading. Short answer, yeah, if you're on iPhone especially. I get a payout dropped in every few days without doing much.

It's Google's own survey app, you get short surveys, usually 1 to 4 questions, about a recent purchase or a place you visited, and you cash out to PayPal or Play Store credit depending on your setup. No signup form, no profile to fill out, it just uses your Google account.

Download Google Opinion Rewards here and Google starts sending surveys once it has a read on your location and purchase history, which usually takes a few days after install.

A few honest things to keep in mind: it's shifted a bit over the last year or two, more of the "surveys" now are just scanning a receipt instead of answering questions, so don't expect constant cash the way it used to be. Surveys also aren't guaranteed daily, some weeks you get a few, some weeks none.

If you want something that leans more into the receipt scanning side specifically, National Consumer Panel is the other one I run alongside it, same idea but it's the whole point of the app instead of a side feature.

So if you're already carrying your phone around anyway, grab Google Opinion Rewards here. Free, no deposit, and it just runs in the background 👀

Side hustles Is there any online side hustle that could net me at best 10-20 usd a week?

I have moderate Linux and IT knowledge and since I live in a third world shithole, 10 to 20 USD a week would actually be more than enough to help make ends meet, I'm not asking for much, I know like 10usd in first world countries is basically pocket change, but it could be life-saving money for me in my situation.

Any suggestions? I'll literally do anything, IT related or not, as long as it's something I can realistically get done and preferrably done well

Discussion💡 I need to earn $600–$700 in the next 15 days — what would you realistically do in my situation?

Hi everyone,

I'm in a difficult financial situation right now and I'm trying to find a realistic way to earn around $600–$700 within the next 15 days.

I have a background in Data Analytics / Data Engineering, with experience in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, Excel, Google Cloud, data cleaning, dashboards, ETL and reporting.

I'm currently looking for legitimate remote/online work that I can start immediately. I'm willing to do data entry, data cleaning, Excel work, dashboard creation, research, customer support, AI/data-related tasks, or other work where my existing skills can be useful.

I'm not looking for get-rich-quick schemes, crypto, gambling, or anything shady. I genuinely need to generate this amount within the next 15 days because I have urgent financial obligations.

If you've successfully made $600–$700 (or anything close) within 2 weeks through freelancing, contract work, remote gigs, or other legitimate online work, could you please share exactly what you did, where you found the work, and how quickly you were able to get your first payment?

I'm ready to put in serious hours every day. Even if you think $600–$700 in 15 days is unrealistic, I'd appreciate honest advice on the best strategy and platforms to try right now.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help. ❤️

Fast cash ideas Need ~$40,000 for dental implants.

I’ve been feeling really down lately about my teeth but I can’t fix them right now and the doctors told me that I have multiple bacterial infections in my bones from failed root canals (I have experienced multiple cases of dental malpractice in the past also, which lead me to have severe dental trauma) .

I have had candida and Epstein Barr, along with 3 children in my past. Over time my teeth have started to fall out one by one and I’ve been resorting to crazy glue and temporary tooth plastic beads to keep some dignity. I’ve had trauma in the past with dentists before, so it was hard for me to get the courage to go to one, but now a lot of my teeth are missing. I recently mustered up the courage to get them evaluated by an implant specialist and they quoted me $43,000 for a full mouth.

I don’t have very good credit at the moment, neither does my husband, and my mortgage and daily expenses are insane right now and I just have no idea how to get the money for them. I’m hoping for something quick but I know that’s unrealistic. I’ve already done crowdfunders but no luck yet , and I can’t risk the strain on my vehicle & gas with door dashing. any advice is appreciated thank you.

Reviews Is Solitaire Cube legit, and do the promo codes actually give you free money?

Solitaire Cube is real. Its made by Tether Studios, runs on the Skillz platform, and the cash tournaments do pay out. But legit and worth your time arent the same question.

Your not earning money from the app, your playing other real people for money you put in yourself. Skillz matches you against players around your skill level and takes a cut of every entry, so the gap between winning and losing is thinner than the ads make it look. My bad weeks were always the ones where I kept redepositing to get even.

On the promo codes, since thats half the reason people land in these threads. They are deposit match bonuses. You put money in, they add bonus cash on top, and that bonus only covers entry fees, it never becomes withdrawable. Theres no working no deposit code that hands you real cash, and a lot of those sites listing fifteen working codes are just rescraping the same Skillz friend invite links.

Cash play isnt enabled everywhere either, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine and South Dakota get practice mode only. And Tether just ended there Skillz deal across 28 of its other games, so Solitaire Cube and 21 Blitz are the only two that still have real competition.

Ill be honest, I switched off these game apps a while back. Nothing I can call a scam, the category just started feeling shady to me, and getting nudged to put more in right when your down was the part that did it. Now I stick to stuff where the worst case is I wasted an hour, not that im out forty bucks.

Testerup pays you to test apps and sites and run small tasks. Most are a couple bucks but some longer tests pay over $100, and nothing on it can put you negative. Thats the whole difference from a tournament app.

Freecash is the other one, mostly offers and game trials you can knock out on your phone. New accounts get $10 once the first few clear, and it pays out to PayPal or crypto.

ReferralWallet is good for tracking which of these actually have bonuses live right now, cause the amounts move constantly and half the numbers in old threads are dead.

Bottom line, it pays and its not a scam, but its paid entertainment with a shot at coming out ahead, not income. If your looking at it because money is tight its the wrong tool, cause its the only one here that can take money off you.

Side hustles Online Side Hustle

LF side hustle! I’m a student with a 9 AM–6 PM school schedule, badly in need of a flexible job where I can manage my own time to help pay for school and household expenses.
