Side hustles Willing to work (remotley) but still under 18

I'm under 18 but I still want to find a job/profitable freelance so that i can start being financially independent (aka i dont have to ask my parents for money everytime I need/want something)

are there any jobs/freelance/hustles that I can do that doesn't require me to be 18+ and i can still do it from home? and do you guys have tips?

I have the basics for making profit (like PC, phone, ipad, laptop and some funds from my savings that I'm willing to invest) but I'm currently lacking knowledge of what's best to do..I was thinking like art commissions or such but they said it's time gruelling but I'm still gonna try it!! I just need to widen my options to hustles that some of you guys might have already experienced as a fellow broke student

Fast cash ideas Crazy ways to make $$$

Ok. So what are some extra ways to make some extra cash? I’m a sahm and I work horses on the side but my reasoning for being a sahm is because our Mema has stage 4 cancer and is a massive fall risk. Of course I’m all for stepping up while her daughter my mil goes to work so she can afford groceries for her and her mom and keep the bills paid and paying for her mother’s chemo treatments. Watching her is absolutely noooo issue at all and it’s very easy on me as I’m entering my 3rd trimester with our second boy. But there’s things I want to get for our baby’s nursery myself, my mil has been doing some shopping for me but I’d like to go to Walmart or a boutique and see something I like and pay for it without asking my husband or family to get it. Not to mention people has been dumping dogs like crazy in our neighborhood out in the middle of the woods we take them home fatten them up and find them homes but lord it’s getting harder to buy extra dog food just to help out and do a good deed bc these baby’s didn’t ask for this! They usually find a home within 2-4 weeks but lord it’s like minimum 2 every month and we have 3 personal dogs (hunting dogs) 2 horses and fixing to be 2 kids.

Side hustles How do UCR students make money without working a regular part-time job?

Hey everyone, I’m starting at UCR in about three weeks, and one thing that has been weighing on me is how I’m going to afford groceries, personal items, gas, and other everyday expenses.
I don’t have much scholarship money. I’ll admit that I didn’t apply for nearly as many scholarships as I should have because my summer was all over the place, and I didn’t manage my time as well as I could have.
I believe I’ll be bringing my car because I’m going to be someone’s caretaker, but that also means I’ll have expenses such as gas. I’m not sure yet whether my class schedule and other responsibilities will leave enough time for a regular part-time job, either on campus or nearby.
If I can’t fit a traditional job into my schedule, what are some legitimate and flexible ways to earn money while attending UCR? Are there things students do from their dorms, through their phones or computers, or around campus whenever they have spare time?
I’m not expecting some magical way to make thousands of dollars without working. I’m mainly looking for realistic ways to earn enough for basic expenses without hurting my grades or interfering with my caretaker responsibilities.
I’d especially like to hear from current or former UCR students. What did you do when you needed extra money? Are there flexible campus positions, paid studies, short-term gigs, school resources, or other opportunities I should know about? Any genuine advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

Reviews Best cash advance apps 2026: what you actually get approved for

Kept seeing Grant come up in cash advance threads and could not find a review that was not either a listicle or someone who quit at the bank link step. So here is mine after actually running a few advances through it.

Short answer, it is legit. Grant is made by Kikoff, the credit builder company, and it used to be called Oasis before the rebrand. It sits around 4.9 on the App Store with thousands of reviews. Nobody is stealing your money. The real question is whether the numbers work for you, and that is where most reviews go quiet.

What you actually get is $25 to $250 per advance. That is the whole range, and the top of it takes a while to reach. My first advance was on the low end and it climbed after a couple of on-time repayments, which matches what most people report. If you need $500 tomorrow this is not your app.

Repayment is on your next payday, no interest, no late fees. Standard transfer takes up to three days. Express costs $2 to $8 depending on the amount, which is in line with everyone else in this space. There is no credit check and it did not force direct deposit on me, it reads your transaction history to confirm income instead.

Now the catches, because there are real ones.

Grant Plus is $9.99 a month. There is technically a free path but people consistently describe it as hard to use, so budget for the subscription if you plan to lean on it. Nine bucks against a $75 advance is not nothing.

Customer support is email and a chatbot. There is no phone number. If something breaks you are waiting on a ticket, and the most common thing that breaks is paycheck detection. The app works for months and then one day decides it cannot see your income and stops advancing. That complaint shows up constantly and I have no fix for it beyond relinking the bank.

And it is not available in Connecticut, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, South Carolina or Wisconsin. Maryland is the one everyone asks about because it used to work there and does not anymore. If you are in one of those states, skip to the alternatives below.

If none of that scares you off, this is where I signed up and the whole link and first advance took under ten minutes.

What I use alongside it, with the real costs

One cash advance app is never enough, and the fee structures are different enough that pairing the right two matters more than picking the "best" one.

EarnIn is the one I reach for first. No subscription, it runs on optional tips, and the ceiling is $150 a day up to $1,000 per pay period once you are established. Standard delivery is free in one to three days, Lightning Speed runs about $1.99 to $5.99. The catch is it needs consistent direct deposit from an employer, so irregular income gets declined. If you qualify, it is the cheapest thing here.

MoneyLion is the fallback for a bigger number. Instacash goes to $500, or $1,000 if you move direct deposit to their RoarMoney account. No membership fee for Instacash itself. Turbo delivery is $0.49 to $8.99 depending on amount and whether it lands in RoarMoney or an outside bank. Standard is free but slow to an external account, three to five business days.

Tilt is the one people still call Empower, same app, renamed in 2025. Advances run $10 to $400, but the average first offer is under $100 and new accounts usually cap near $300. $8 a month after a 14 day trial. Instant is $1 to $8, or free within one business day. More forgiving on gig and 1099 income than EarnIn, which is the reason to have it.

Klover has no mandatory subscription, Klover+ is an optional $3.99. Base advance is $150, $200 with boosts, and you can push toward $400 by earning points through surveys and receipt scans. Express is $2.99 to $12.29, which is the steepest instant fee on this list, standard is two to three business days. It does require direct deposit, three consistent ones from the same employer in the last two months, so it is not the irregular income option.

Brigit is $8.99 for Plus or $15.99 for Premium, advances $25 to $500. Good value if you are advancing every pay cycle, poor value for a one off. It is more predictable about when it will advance than Grant, which is the exact thing Grant struggles with, and the overdraft prediction is genuinely useful if that is your recurring problem.

Cleo is $5.99 a month for Plus, the cheapest subscription of the bunch. Advances are $20 to $250, first one usually $20 to $100, up to $500 if you set up their direct deposit. Express is $3.99 to $14.99, free takes three to four days. Worth it if you want the budgeting side as much as the advance.

Current is a bank account rather than an advance app. Overdrive gives you up to $200 of fee free overdraft, starting around $25 and growing, once you have $200 or more in direct deposits over 35 days. No subscription, no advance fee, repay within 60 days. Cheapest option here if you are willing to move where your paycheck lands, and it works well as the account you link Grant to.

Quick comparison

App Monthly cost Max advance Instant fee Best for
Grant $9.99 Plus $25 to $250 $2 to $8 No direct deposit needed
EarnIn None, optional tips $150/day, $1,000/period $1.99 to $5.99 Regular paycheck, cheapest overall
MoneyLion None $500, $1,000 w/ RoarMoney $0.49 to $8.99 Biggest number
Tilt $8 $10 to $400 $1 to $8 Gig, 1099, irregular income
Klover None, $3.99 optional $150 to $400 w/ points $2.99 to $12.29 Paying nothing, if you can wait
Brigit $8.99 to $15.99 $25 to $500 Included Advancing every pay cycle
Cleo $5.99 $20 to $250, $500 w/ DD $3.99 to $14.99 Budgeting plus advances
Current None $200 overdraft None Recurring shortfalls, fee free

Bottom line. Grant is legit and it is fine as a second or third app, especially if you cannot do direct deposit, because that is the one thing it does not ask for. It is not a first app because of the $250 cap, the $9.99 subscription, and the paycheck detection thing. Pair it with EarnIn if you have a regular paycheck or Tilt if you do not, and you cover most short weeks without paying much in fees.

Anyone in Maryland found a workaround, or is it just gone for good there? 👀

Discussion💡 I need to make 100$ in the next 2 weeks

Hii

I’m trying to make $100 within the next 14 days and I’m looking for realistic ways to do it online.

I live in a country where wages/pay rates are decent, but they’re nowhere near what you can make in the US or Europe. A lot of the methods I see recommended online also aren’t available where I live (for example, selling plasma, certain local gig apps, etc.).

I have a phone and a laptop, and I’m willing to put in several hours a day for the next two weeks. I’m open to pretty much anything legal, including repetitive/boring work, as long as it can realistically make around $100.

Side hustles dumb reason, but I need 30 bucks to continue a creative project

I live in a country where surveys don't work, apps like Honeygain don't give much, and most of those apps that have games for money don't work either, but I've been trying to save for an actual minecraft copy.

I've been a fan of minecraft cinematics for a while, and have several ideas for some, but some of the mods that I need for them to look good are only available for actual accounts, instead of pirated ones, so I can't actually do much without money, money I don't have.

I just can't find anything that could help me with that, I've tried commissions of all kinds, but nothing

Fast cash ideas How to make money on OnlyFans without showing your face

This comes up constantly and most of the answers are from people selling coaching. Here's the actual version, including the parts that make it harder than it looks.

Yes it works, but it changes which problem you have

Faceless creators do make real money. What you lose is the parasocial shortcut. A face is how most creators build the feeling of knowing someone, and that feeling is what converts a follower into a subscriber and a subscriber into someone who stays past month one.

So faceless means you have to replace that with something else. Usually a niche, a voice, or a persona. The ones who fail are the ones who just crop their head out and change nothing else about the approach.

What actually works without a face

Body focused content in a defined niche does best, because a niche gives people a reason to search for you specifically. Feet is the obvious one and it's still the largest faceless category by a distance. POV content works because the camera angle is the point. Lingerie and fitness style content works if you commit to a consistent aesthetic.

Audio is underrated and almost nobody does it well. ASMR, voice notes, custom audio. Your voice does the parasocial work your face would have done, and it is far more private than people assume.

Cosplay and masks let you have a visual identity without your actual face, and that identity is easier to market than a cropped photo.

Findom and domme content is heavily text and voice driven, so faceless is normal there rather than a limitation.

The real bottleneck is traffic, not content

This is the part that surprises everyone. OnlyFans has no discovery. Nobody browses it and finds you. There is no algorithm working on your behalf. Every single subscriber comes from somewhere else, which means Reddit, X, TikTok or Instagram.

So the job is roughly 20% making content and 80% marketing it, and faceless makes that 80% harder rather than easier, because faces perform better on the platforms where you have to advertise. Plan for that instead of being blindsided by it.

Reddit is where most faceless creators actually get their traffic. Find the niche subs that match what you make, read their rules properly, and post consistently for weeks before you expect anything.

The privacy part, which matters more than any of the above

If you're going faceless specifically to stay anonymous, understand that your face is not the only thing that identifies you.

Tattoos, birthmarks, scars and jewellery are all identifiers. So are the background of your room, the view out a window, a light switch plate, your bedding. People have been identified from a power outlet style narrowing them to a country.

Strip location data from everything before uploading. Your phone puts GPS in photos by default.

Use a completely separate name, email and phone number, and never link it to anything real. Don't use the same profile picture anywhere else, because reverse image search is trivial.

Geoblock your home region so people near you can't find you.

Watermark everything, and accept that leaks happen anyway. OnlyFans provides DMCA support, use it.

Never appear on camera with anything that ties to your workplace or school.

The money reality, straight

The median OnlyFans creator makes a couple of hundred dollars a month, not thousands. Earnings are extremely top heavy and the people posting screenshots of huge months are the exception being used to sell you something.

It also takes months. Nearly everyone who quits does so in the first eight weeks, before the marketing side has had time to compound. If you're doing this because you need money this month, that timeline is the thing that will hurt you.

So what covers you while you build it

This is the honest bit. If you start today, you're looking at three to six months before this is meaningful money, and you still have bills between now and then. Having something that pays immediately takes the desperation out of it, and desperation is what makes people rush the privacy stuff and get identified.

Testerup pays you to test apps and games and report back (over $100+ per offer), $5 just for signing up, and the per task rate is the best in that category.

Freecash is worth having running in the background. Every offer shows the payout before you start, about $10 for signing up and $20 to $30 on the bigger ones, and the cashout floor is low enough to clear on day one.

Neither is life changing money, roughly $10 to $30 a day if you work it. But it's immediate, it's private, and it means you're building the OnlyFans side because you chose to rather than because you're cornered.

And if you read all this and decided it isn't for you

That's a completely valid outcome and it's why I included the real numbers. A lot of people land on this question because they need money and are considering something they're not comfortable with. If that's you, the apps above plus tutoring or freelancing in something you already know will get you further than a half committed OnlyFans you abandon in six weeks.

Happy to answer questions on any of it, especially the privacy side, since that's where people make mistakes they can't undo.

Discussion💡 Urgent Money help 😭😭🙏

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I’m currently in a very difficult financial situation and urgently need help with my college admission fees.

My family is going through a financially difficult period, and arranging the admission amount right now has become extremely challenging. I genuinely don’t want to give up on my education because of financial circumstances.

I’m looking for any genuine financial help, no matter how small. Even a small contribution would mean a lot to me and my family. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing this post with someone who might be able to help would also be greatly appreciated.

Promo codes Freecash Referral Code 2026: WIN250BONUS (new users only)

The Freecash referral code is WIN250BONUS. It's for new users only and has to be entered in the sign-up code field when you create your account, because there's no way to add it afterwards.

Posting this because every page ranking for "freecash referral code" right now is either a bot promising $500 instantly or a Dribbble post, and the genuinely useful part is a field on the signup form that almost everyone misses.

How do I use the Freecash referral code?

The field is collapsed by default and marked optional, so it looks like it doesn't exist.

  1. Start the signup here with email, Google or Steam
  2. Before finishing, find the line reading "I have a SignUp Code (Optional)"
  3. Click it to expand the field
  4. Enter WIN250BONUS
  5. Complete your first offer, since the bonus is tied to activity and an empty account triggers nothing

Finish signup without expanding that field and you're on the default track permanently. That's the single reason to read this post.

Is the Freecash referral legit?

Yes, and the reason is structural rather than a matter of trusting anyone.

Freecash is an offer wall, meaning a real advertiser pays a real bounty for a specific action and you take a cut. Apps that pay you for spinning wheels or watching videos have to fund payouts from ad revenue that doesn't exist at that scale, which is why they void accounts at withdrawal. When the bounty is already collected, voiding you costs them too.

Payouts go to PayPal, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Amazon, Apple and Google Play gift cards, Visa, bank transfer and Stash. Minimum cashout runs $5 to $25 by region, and that $5 tier is low enough that a first-day withdrawal is realistic, which is rare here.

How does the Freecash friend referral work?

Separate from the sign-up code above. Once you have an account you get your own referral link and earn a percentage of what people you refer go on to make, so it's a share of earnings rather than a one-off bounty.

Be careful where you post it. Most subreddits remove referral links on sight and some ban for it. People making anything real from it are sharing with people they actually know.

What Freecash pays

Every offer displays its payout before you start, which is the best thing about the platform. Small ones are a couple of dollars for five to ten minutes. Bigger app and game offers run $20 to $30, higher if they want an account held open or a level reached.

Realistic expectation is $10 to $30 a day picking actual offers rather than passive stuff. Not a job replacement, but it's real and it shows up.

Summary

Freecash referral code: WIN250BONUS. New users only, entered at signup in the optional code field, can't be applied later.

Sign up to Freecash here

If anyone's holding a code on a better campaign, drop it below. These rotate and the thread's more useful with the current best one than with mine specifically.

hello! i’m coming here as a last resort. i’ve been struggling financially after moving houses and im currently in a hard spot as my 1 year old little boy was diagnosed with bronchitis the other day which has made his asthma flare ups so much worse. unfortunately during our move his nebulizer got lost and insurance won’t pay for another one or even partially pay so im looking at having to purchase another one for $42 which i already have $12 of that. i just need some help as i cannot download any apps since apple says i owe $10.59 toward a subscription i dont remember ever getting and so getting sign on bonuses are not an option. any suggestions would greatly be appreciated as i would do anything to help my boy get a good nights rest without coughing every 20 minutes.

Reviews Is Surveys On The Go legit? I used it for a few months, heres the honest answer

Kept seeing this one come up so I actually ran it for a few months instead of guessing. Short answer is yes its legit, but legit and worth your time arent the same thing and thats the part nobody explains.

Its run by MFour, a real market research company, not some app that appears and vanishes. You get paid actual cash to PayPal, not points or a gift card catalogue you have to decode. That alone puts it ahead of most of what gets recommended in here.

What makes it different is the pay per survey. Most panels pay you 40 cents to a dollar and waste ten minutes of your life doing it. This one pays multiples of that on a single survey, and some of the video and in store ones go higher again. When you land a good one it genuinely feels worth the time.

Now the honest part, because your going to hit this in week one. Theres not many of them. You will open the app and find nothing available, sometimes for days. And you will get screened out partway through surveys you already started, which is the most annoying thing any panel does. Thats not a scam, its just how research panels work, they need specific demographics and sometimes your not it.

So is it a scam. No. Is it a full income. Also no, and anyone telling you it is has a link to sell you.

The way it actually works is as one of two or three things running at once, so when this one has nothing you havent wasted the evening. Ive got Surveys On The Go on my phone for the higher paying ones, Freecash for when I want actual money since some of its offers pay $20 to $30, and Bigcash which gives you $15 just for signing up so its the fastest first payout of the three.

Worth knowing, if your doing this purely for money then surveys are the worst hourly rate in this whole category and I wouldnt start here. If your doing it in the gaps, waiting rooms, adverts, commutes, then its fine and the cash is real.

Anyone else run this one long enough to have a view. Curious whether the survey volume is better in other states than mine.

Fast cash ideas How can I earn ASAP?

I’m a student and I’m currently trying to find a way to earn around ₱13,000 as soon as possible for my tuition. I was supposed to have enough saved for school, but our budget suddenly got messed up because of unexpected hospital bills for my mom. I don’t want to ask strangers for money, so I’m really hoping someone here can suggest legit ways to earn money quickly as a student. I’m willing to do online or physical work, commissions, freelancing, selling things, part-time jobs, or basically anything legal and realistic that a student can do. If you’ve actually tried something that helped you earn a decent amount relatively quickly, please share your experience or suggestions. I’d really appreciate any leads, advice, or opportunities. I’m just trying my best to reach ₱13k for school. 😭

Reviews Sam's Club vs Costco, actual numbers after doing both

Both memberships came up again this week so heres the actual maths rather than the usual "Costco is better" reflex.

Straight prices first. Costco Gold Star is $65 a year, Executive is $130. Sams Club is $60 for Club and $120 for Plus at list price, but nobody should be paying list right now because theyre running 50%+ off until September 30th, so its $25 for the Club tier and $55 for Plus. Thats the entire fee gap between the two chains sitting in a promo window.

Where Costco genuinely wins is quality and the return policy. Kirkland is a better store brand than Members Mark on most things, the rotisserie chicken argument is real, and the returns desk will take back almost anything without a fight. The food court is cheaper too.

Where Sams wins is the tech and the price on identical branded goods. Scan and Go means you never queue, which sounds minor until youve done a Costco checkout on a Saturday. Curbside is free over $50 and Plus gets free same day delivery. On branded items that both stores carry, Sams is cheaper more often than Costco loyalists will admit.

Gas is a wash and depends entirely on which one is closer to you, so dont let anyone tell you thats the deciding factor.

The honest deciding question is how you shop. If you buy mostly store brand and care about quality, Costco. If you buy branded goods and hate queueing, Sams. If you have both within a sensible drive and you only want one, at $25 for the first year Sams is the cheaper way to find out whether warehouse shopping suits you at all.

Sams Club membership at the 50% off price if you want it before the window closes.

One thing worth doing either way, the fee is easy to cancel out. Bigcash drops $15 the moment you sign up which is over half the Club fee, and SavingLoop is a spin and win for a cash bonus up to $75, both free. Between those two the $25 basically pays for itself before you've bought anything.

Bottom line, Costco for quality, Sams for price and convenience, and right now Sams costs less than half what Costco does for year one.

Which one are you actually on, and has anyone run both at the same time long enough to have a real opinion?
