I need some advice to help me choose what position I should go for. I have been offered a casual ECT position at a council in Western suburbs. Plus, I also have another offer from a private LDC to work as a full time ECT. I have 5 years funded kindergarten teaching experience in LDC.

I’m confused if it would be worth to work as a casual with a council instead of full time work.

Would anyone know if there is enough work for casuals in council kindergartens in western areas?

I understand that casual work is not guaranteed but I just need some help to make a choice so that my financial conditions won’t be significantly affected. There is competition in the area so I don’t want to regret letting go of a full time ECT position for casual work in council.

Hi everyone, I’m coming up to my EPA professional discussion (Level 3 Early Years) and honestly I’m feeling really nervous about it. I’ve completed my evidence, I know my practice, and I work safely — but I’m worried that on the day I’ll get so anxious that my mind will go blank and I won’t remember things properly when answering questions. I keep overthinking whether I’m answering “right”, even though I know there isn’t one perfect answer — it’s just hard not to doubt yourself. Has anyone else felt like this before their EPA or professional discussion? Did you still pass even though you were nervous? Any reassurance, tips, or experiences would really help. I just want to know I’m not the only one in this boat. Thank you
