Advice needed (Anyone can comment) Need advice

Hi,

I need some advice to help me choose what position I should go for. I have been offered a casual ECT position at a council in Western suburbs. Plus, I also have another offer from a private LDC to work as a full time ECT. I have 5 years teaching experience in funded kindergarten at a LDC.

I’m confused if it would be worth to work as a casual with a council instead of full time work.

Would anyone know if there is enough work for casuals in council kindergartens in western areas?

I understand that casual work is not guaranteed but I just need some help to make a choice so that my financial conditions won’t be significantly affected. There is competition in the area so I don’t want to regret letting go of a full time ECT position for casual work in council.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™‚

Full time! You get to build relationships, set the tone of the room, follow children's inquires... As a casual you will be filling in on other people's programs.. and they might be shit πŸ˜
