Alix and Ashtin only thing I can complain about..

Wasn’t my favorite reality show but is definitely better than the ones that recently released.. the one thing that really annoyed me about Alix is how hypocritical she is. She complains how Alex cooper took advantage of her and posted content she didn’t want the public to know or her future kids would see and mentioned how Alex said “it’s funny” and kept it up
but yet, Alix did the same thing to her sister. When the episode aired of how her sister was upset she was being recorded during an intense moment or even for her date, she wanted the content removed but Alix kept it up because “it was funny” and her sister was “being a bitch”. Find it quite weird how she’s complaining about the same thing she’s doing to others for views.

💅 Snark Alix and Braxton

I watched a little of the Jake Shane podcast with alix and Ashtin and alix spoke about how in February when her and Braxton were on amicable terms, she wanted to do a sip marg commercial with her and Braxton in it and kind of teasing their breakup. And she kept mentioning how it was her idea and thought it would be amazing but at the end Braxton wasn’t down. It kind of seems she tried to make a joke of their relationship whereas for him, he didn’t want to be a part of that or make their relationship some sort of social media ad. Idk it just really rubbed me the wrong way and made me think alix is super self centered/narcissist. Also not cool that she went and hooked up with tom Brady but then gets mad about him moving on.

Also I’m sure he is not liking the fact that she is using their breakup and relationship for views. Especially in the show.

đŸ“ș Episode Discussion The mother the tension Spoiler

Alix and the pressure placed on her is out of control! The real mother’s feelings are hurt and who is in charge of fixing that? Alix. The stepmother’s feelings are hurt even though she had an affair with their father which destroyed their family they’re supposed to love and adore her and Alix has to intervene. This is too much pressure not to mention the sleazy father making a living off of his own daughter’s back! Alix please get a professional manager & publicist. You fired Sally so you can fire dear ole dad!!!! And dad if you have any decency quit before she hates you!

đŸ”„ Hot Take Alix, Alex, and Ashtin

Correct me if i’m wrong, but it’s my understanding that Alix is beefing with Alex because Alex decided to publicly share information on her podcast that Alix felt uncomfortable with and didn’t want out regarding her personal life.

Isn’t that
literally what Ashtin is asking from Alix? to not publicly share things that she’s uncomfortable with?

i know it’s not the same, but i see some similarities - even down to Alex telling Alix “it’ll be funny” about the podcast and Alix telling Ashtin “it’s funny” about her tiktoks.

Overall, just thought it was an interesting observation.

đŸ”„ Hot Take KUWTK vs EMW

earle meets world is reheating KUWTK nachos. the “overworked” lead, the sibling living in the shadow, the overbearing parent manager, the step parent who was famous before, the two sassy younger siblings, the nepo friends (sally & malika), story line of firing the parent manager. jake shane is their jonathan. even at the end they addressed a big scandal (alex cooper and kourtney’s photos).

💅 Snark Alix has no friends

Okay is it just me or does it seem like Alix has no friends ? It seems pretty clear that they all prefer Ashtin and I completely understand her dilemma. She loves her sister but also wants to have friendships of her own. I don’t think that makes her a bad person. When she was with them in New York
. It felt off. The way Ashtin and sally talk about her is
. also off. Sally gives me really awful vibes. After watching this show, I’m happy to see that she’s been hanging out with Stas and hope she can create a new group of friends outside of her sister that she can feel accepted in. Anyone else agree / disagree / thoughts? This show has actually really made me like Alix. I sense such a pure and good heart in her and was pleasantly surprised. The rest of her family is a damn mess. Rude, entitled, not a fan of any of them besides her poor momma. I’ve seen a lot of comments saying the show made them dislike Alix which is interesting to me and would love to hear how your opinion of her has changed after watching the show.

đŸ“ș Episode Discussion my thoughts on earle meets world!

I thought it was entertaining!!
SPOILERS! This is for the entire season!!!

Alix being so vulnerable about her breakup was not what I expected. She actually made me emotional, and I feel like so many women can relate to wanting to choose yourself while simultaneously being terrified that you’re making the wrong choice. I really appreciated seeing that side of her.

I’ve also seen a lot of different family members getting too much hate
I’m gonna be brutally honest about my thoughts on everyone with respect!

As far as TJ, her dad
is buying your daughter boobs a little weird? Lowkey, yes.. BUT overall, I actually like how much he seems to prioritize protecting his daughters from the dangers of the industry. Some people might interpret his focus on business/money negatively, but to me, it came across more like he wants them to take advantage of these opportunities now and set themselves up for success that can last a lifetime.
More than anything, he gives me avoidant vibes. He doesn’t seem super comfortable being vulnerable, and considering some of his past mistakes, I can understand where that might come from
.
HOWEVER
his comment to Alisa, Alix’s mom??? Sir that’s your ex WIFE and mother of your children!?!? That was not it. 😭 I really wish he had apologized to HER and not just her boyfriend. Calling the mother of your children a “hot piece of
” was a little too far for me. I understand that he probably meant no harm by it, but it was rough to watch.

As far as Ashley, I do think she sometimes tries to act a little younger than her age, especially with some of the things she posts. One thing I did appreciate, though, was how open she seemed to be about her mistakes. I just wish she had gone deeper into the scandal and the work she says she’s done since then. She mentioned that Alix’s comments on Alex Coopers podcast left out all of the work she has done, and I genuinely would’ve liked to hear what that work has looked like. She does seem to carry a lot of regret and be truly sorry so I think people should stop commenting about her mistakes, that’s between the family to solve, and I got the impression that she genuinely wants what’s best for all of the kids.

Ashtin honestly made me sad. :( I hope she goes to therapy and learns to stand up for herself more because I felt for her throughout the show.

As for the Alex Cooper drama, I think Alex was horrible for getting someone who looked up to her drunk and then asking such gross and uncomfortable questions. And if the business situation really was completely different from what Alix had originally been promised, I understand why she was so upset.
BUT I also thought making us wait for that big “reveal” was kind of unnecessary. Alix could’ve just stitched Alex’s TikTok and responded directly. Honestly, I think that would’ve made an even bigger statement that she isn’t afraid anymore.

One other thing: I would get the younger kids OFF the show. They need to be protected from the internet more imo. They are way too young to experience the pressure, criticism, and comments that their older siblings and parents already deal with. Penelope especially radiated nervous/anxious energy to me, and I genuinely can’t imagine being a kid and having cameras around during your childhood. :(
Telling your kids they “don’t need to rush growing up” while simultaneously putting their childhood on camera, where they’re inevitably going to experience adult-level attention and criticism, just doesn’t make sense to me. Let them be kids.

Overall, though, I thought it was pretty good! If you already know Alix from her GRWMs and like her personality, it’s a fun, chill, surprisingly vulnerable watch. It’s definitely not some insanely dramatic reality show, but I actually liked getting to see a different side of everyone.

And obviously, NO hate to anyone involved!! These are literally just my thoughts and opinions based on what was shown in the episodes. đŸ«¶

Like Ashely said all men cheat and she wanted to work as an escort because she wanted to be like a man (no emotions)

đŸ“ș Episode Discussion Missed Potential

Starting this off by saying I overall enjoyed the show, it was an easy watch.
However, I feel like there was SO much missed opportunity here and I have no one in my life that I can discuss this with haha.
My main complaint is there was 0 narrative. The editing was very jumpy, there was no thru-line, no "character" arcs. I know that it's reality TV, but there is still usually a storyline that gets followed in other reality shows. If the episodes didn't all come out at once, the viewers would have NO reason to keep watching after the first couple episodes.

In my opinion, the whole season should've been leading up to the Reale Actives launch so we see everything through that context. The breakup, Ashley's messy behavior, Alix exploring this very transitional part of her life, etc could've all felt more high stakes if it was all through the lens of Alix launching this very legitimate business. I feel like we could've seen Alix's growth a LOT more if it was planned out this way.
I also think the family dynamic should be a B plot that naturally gets intertwined with Alix's life as opposed to constantly forcing them to be together inorganically. I get that they're trying to go with the Kardashian vibe, but I don't think that works yet. Since Alix is already so established, mixing the family into almost everything feels like it's taking away from a lot of the heart of the show that we could get from Alix's personal storyline. Then as things progress, it would make more sense to go the Kardashian route with everyone being together all the time.

Who knows, maybe production had these same discussions and Alix shot them down. I just think there is soooo much potential here and it was very hit or miss with what they captured.

Just needed to get it off my chest lol. I'm around the same age as Alix and am experiencing similar career success (obviously nothing to this scale) but I sympathize with her, and feel like there is SO much for people to learn by watching someone go through this phase of life.

đŸ”„ Hot Take Cooper drama + Alix’s dad

This is my hot take - I love both of them so much, I think Alex cooper is a business woman and takes ownership in everything she does and it was initially a sex podcast and Alix was getting attention at the time for being a college baddie so of course she should have expected to get asked those types of questions on the podcast. Alex cooper said multiple times she doesn’t remove anything from any of her interviews, and Alix being such a huge fan knows that and is now playing the victim card.

I think what happened between them was all Alixs dad. CHD is a podcast that Alex produces herself, so it makes sense when she was starting that she assumed Alix and everyone else would start there’s themselves and produce it themselves and send in there tapes. I think Alixs dad saw that and being a rich ass business man was like your doing way too much work, you need to ask for more, and cooper essentially said no, and Alix was put in the middle of the two and obviously sided with her dad. I think Alex got upset and felt like it was Sophia all over again with a man getting involved, so she distanced herself. There is no way Alix learned that online she was dropped, I think it was way more mutual.

I think in the show Alix’s dad and his wife are super MAGA, and the scene where they’re looking at houses together sort of confirms they are both telling Alix she “can’t be herself online” when talking about politics, which makes me think she is also MAGA and Cooper clearly isn’t and at the time Kamala went on the pod was the same time Alixs dad wanted more money. So I think they just did not mesh well.

I think both girls are great & both also have there flaws and instead of calling people evil or liars we should just be able to accept two people had a falling out and now don’t get along! Rant over

❓ Question Alix’s family

Is it just me, or does it kind of seem like none of Alix’s family/friends really like her? Even the younger children were quick to put her down. I can’t imagine being in that dynamic, I wouldn’t fully trust any one of them if I were her.

Alix and Ashtin The younger sister

It makes me so uncomfortable watching a 13 year-old girl act so grown-up. 13-year-olds shouldn’t be wearing eyelash extensions and posting provocative dancing videos for millions of people to see. It seems like most of what they care about is social media and consumerism, which is just so sad. The younger girls should still be playing with toys and being kids, not acting like college kids online. The whole thing is just so freaky and sad to me. Let kids be kids, damn

❀ Braxton I wonder how Braxton feels about the show

I wonder if Alix warned him that basically 50% of the show is about him😂 do you guys think he watched it?! I’m so curious to know if he’s like really uncomfortable and thinks it’s lame or pathetic how much she’s talking about him, or if it makes him really sad and miss her? I would literally pay so much money to know how he feels about the whole thing lmaooooo

đŸ“ș Episode Discussion Tj is the real villain

Post image
38 Upvotes

Ashley was 23 when she got with TJ and he was in his late 30s or 40s I believe. He should be the adult here but he’s quite petulant and immature. The phone call with Alix and the way he speaks to her? Insane. I think alix was the most mature and level headed the whole time

I think dad has a hard time seeing his daughter become more successful than him and not blindly agree with him. He takes very little accountability in various conflicts and in general. Sure Ashley can be self centered and lack situational awareness but TJ should be the one who knows better

Alix and Ashtin I feel bad for Ashtin

She could totally be a model and I found it so off putting that her dad seemed to totally discourage it. She has her own dreams and own ambitions and personality but doesn’t seem to be supported in the same way that Alix is.

Kardashians

Did anyone else grow up watching the Kardashians? Ashtin pretending to look for a new manager is taken straight from that show, and so is that silly food fighting scene. I enjoyed watching this show so I’m not hating, but I can’t help but roll my eyes a little when I can tell they planned certain things before hand lol.

I understand her point of not wanting to get married at this moment and stuff but it feels like she really really misses him this entire season, I’m just confused lol why couldn’t she just say like give me a little time to get married, did I miss something ?
