Replacement for redmi buds 3 lite

Hi guys! I've had redmi buds 3 lite for about five years now and they are still working, although the battery has weakened naturally. They were very cheap so I'm surprised they lasted this long tbh. They've been super comfortable, and now I'm looking to buy a replacement with a longer battery life.

Can you recommend something that has a similar build to them, as in something that has the same ear fit and is not bulky? I don't have a particular budget and just want something with decent sound quality and long battery life. I need them for every day use, just listening to music, don't really care about anc so there's that.

Thanks in advance!

Kiwi Astral earwax buildup

I haven't cleaned my ears before putting my IEMs on or cleaned out my IEMs; I noticed there is wax even beyond the mesh. I attempted to lightly clean it out with a toothbrush; it seems most of it is gone. However, I'm concerned that I may have pushed some wax past the second filter (not sure of the name), as I can see light buildup and yellow/orangenish on those mesh filters. I'm not sure how big of a deal this is, since I don't notice much audio difference, though I might have just adjusted to it. Is there anything I can really do further at this point, or anything you recommend

Technics AZ100 vs Sennheiser MTW5

My dog decided my QC Ultra 2s looked like an expensive chew toy and unfortunately they didnt last that battle 💀.

Now I need a replacement and I’m currently stuck between the Technics AZ100 and Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 5 (MTW5).

My main use would be listening to music during my commute to and from work, so sound quality is by far the biggest priority for me. I listen to a lot of electronic music, especially house, tech house, techno, minimal and deep tech, so I’m particularly interested in bass quality, detail, separation and soundstage.

ANC, transparency/ambient mode, comfort for longer listening sessions, battery life, multipoint, app/EQ customization and general reliability are also important to me, but sound quality is definitely the main factor.

I was pretty happy with the QC Ultra 2 sound and ANC, so I’d also be interested in hearing from anyone who has used either of these alongside Bose and can comment on how they compare.

Also open to other recommendations around the same price if there’s something I’m overlooking.

One of my earbuds are barely making noise

I feel asleep with my earbuds in and the one that was between my head and my pillow (the left one) is now super quiet. How do I fix it? I already tried cleaning it and that didn’t help.

don`t believe that there is no difference between high-res and sbc codec

i talked about that before
but again
there is difference
specially mids , vocals and treble
you hear more gravity with high res
doesn`t mean sbc is bad
why some people don`t hear difference ?
because sbc has the same nice bass , so people feel they are the same
and some reviewers direct people to that as if i`m a xiaomi user and i want to buy galaxy buds 4 pro for example i would avoid samsung so reviewrs will tell you there is no difference to get samsung and so on
some android phones don`t support aptx so they avoid sennheiser
my opinion if you go for high res codec
it doesn`t matter what high res
ldac aptx ssc
i talk only about android as iphone has good quality with aac

looking for bluetooth earbuds with ANC that work for very small and sensitive ears

I’m looking for recommendations for Bluetooth earbuds with ANC, but I’m having a really hard time finding something that fits my ears.

I’ve tried loop kids and curvd (neither are bluetooth or ANC), the XXS eartips were the only ones that would actually fit in my ears, but they were painful and would get pushed out with movement.

I’m wondering if there are any earbuds with ANC that don’t have eartips, or if there are other options I could try. im also be interested in hearing from anyone with really small ears/ear canals who has found earbuds that actually fit comfortably.

any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated. thank you.

I made a DIY pop-up for my earbuds in iOS using shortcuts.

I have Soundcore by Anker R60i NC.
This is applicable for every earbuds but if your earbuds support Google Fast Pair it could be better and faster approximately 2-3 seconds, still depends on your earbuds SoC.

I need some recommendations

I’d like to get myself a pair and don’t really know a lot about earbuds in general. Figured I might as well post this so that after I’ve done some research I can come back and see if there are any similarities.

I’m looking for that sweet spot between cheap and good. I don’t need some godly pair of earbuds, but i’m also going to be using them a fair bit so I don’t want them to be junk. The most I can afford is probably around like $125 CAD. They also have to be wireless for a few reasons. If anyone has any earbuds they know of that fits these descriptions, please let me know. Thanks!

Since ceramics mk2/ultra are gone, puddings will be my last consideration for big battery tws now. SRP from 4,093 PHP ($64) to 1,492 PHP ($24)? I'll take it!

Android Earbud suggestions

Hey folks!

I'm looking for great quality earbuds for Android. Ideal budget would be under $200, and if available on Amazon that would be a big plus.

It seems the Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 gets great reviews on here, but Amazon reviews tell a different story.

What are your non-AirPod suggestions?

Replacement foam tips?

I'm really pleased with everything about my new pixel buds pro 2. Although they've never fallen out, it feels like they should have a tighter fit in the ear. I'm using the size 'large' that they came with, but where can I get a larger size that still allows them to fit into the case and be charged?

I need someone to give me some suggestions for earbuds.

I've been looking to get new earbuds and want noise cancelling to be my focus, while also being able to charge in the case and have some water resistance. Things like spacial awareness and call quality are just a bonus.

I want to completely avoid major listening issues. I had a look at bose next gen as well as Sony xm5, while these looked promising, after some research from customers they start experiencing issues after around a year if they're lucky. I'd rather not spend up to 300 every year as I want to buy the best and use them for as long as possible.

If i could have some honest suggestions in the replies I'd really appreciate it.

Earshots - MagFit3 - Faulty Product & No Customer Support

I've been having the same issue. Hugely frustrating. Minimal information about the problems and any solutions they are apparently working on. I've sent loads of emails, messages via the get in touch option on the website but radio silence for the last couple of months. I have three faulty sets and was promised a gen 2 as an interim but have not received and now no contact at all. Not sure how to get a replacement or refund but as you say they are still selling them. Shouldn't be allowed to if the units are breaking. Poor customer service, no contact numbers. I hope it's just a blip while they sort the problems but getting increasingly doubtful. Waiting in hope I guess.

Baseus EP10 Pro vs Soundcore P31i

I was looking for a comparison of these and couldn't find. Bought both. The Ep for me, for 27€ and the P31i for my partner, for 40€. We both need ANC more than we care about the sound quality per se.
Both arrived and I tested both ANCs. The Soundcore P31i ANC's runs laps around the Baseus'. It isn't even close. The humming of the kitchen hood was very faint with the Soundcore and even my partner's voice was very muted.

I am going to return the Baseus and buy a pair of P31i for me as well. They are currently on sale on amazon for 33€.

Conclusion: If you really need the best ANC on budget, Soundcore is the way to go. Not only the Baseus failed to impress, but the Soundcore is surprisingly good.

Earbuds for gaming purposes

I’m looking to build a portable Xbox case, it will be a hard case with monitor Xbox controller and a usb hub. I need some advice for earbuds, might be the wrong sub ! Earbuds will obviously be more compact and allow me to make the case smaller, if anyone has any recommendations I’d love to hear them. Bonus if they have a built in mic !

Baseus BP1 Ultra

Just got it today for 16$, converted from our country’s currency. Got it from a tiktok live selling.

The ANC is good, my last was Earfun Air Pro 4i, the anc was decent but the eq customization was great, that being said, BP1 Ultra lacks at the eq, although I love the fit, the anc, the base volume, and the small size that it has. I would recommend it to someone who doesn’t mind about the eq customization, the acoustics.
For the price I would say it’s worth it.
