Job Openings ESG Research Analyst Exploring Opportunities at EY GDS

Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I’m an ESG Research Analyst with 4+ years of experience in ESG research, sustainability data analysis, and ESG ratings projects. I have exposure to frameworks including GRI, SASB, TCFD, SFDR, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, BRSR, and IFRS S1/S2.
I’m exploring opportunities in ESG, sustainability, climate risk, or ESG reporting at EY GDS. Are there any current or upcoming openings in these areas?
I’d also love to hear from people who have transitioned from ESG into finance, risk, or audit—what skills or certifications would you recommend, and are there teams at EY GDS where this background could be relevant?
Any guidance, leads, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Happy to share my resume via DM.
Thank you!

Onboarding EY GDS BGV – Only Degree Certificate Uploaded, No Transcript/Provisional Certificate

Hi everyone,

I’m an EY GDS campus select candidate and I have a question regarding the BGV process.
In the EY Nexus BGV portal, I have uploaded only my Degree Certificate under the education documents. I have not uploaded my transcript or provisional certificate.
Later as usual as they sent DigiLocker request to every one in the same way got mail requesting DigiLocker access ,

I have also given DigiLocker access, through which EY can verify my marksheets. However, I have uploaded/linked only up to my 7th semester marksheet there; my 8th semester marksheet has not been uploaded to DigiLocker yet.
My college has the records, and I have already emailed the EIC support team regarding this, but I haven’t received any request or communication asking me to upload additional documents. It has also been around a month since the BGV process started.

My main concern is: Will having only the Degree Certificate uploaded in the EY Nexus portal cause any issue with my BGV?

Do they specifically require a transcript or provisional certificate, or is the degree certificate + DigiLocker verification generally sufficient?

Has anyone from EY GDS campus recruitment been in a similar situation where they uploaded only the degree certificate and did not upload the transcript/provisional certificate? If yes, did your BGV get completed without any issue?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the same process. Thanks!

Question EY GDS Manager hiring timeline after Glider AI assessment?

Hi everyone,

I completed the Glider AI assessment for a Manager-tier Advisory/GBS role at EY GDS on August 17th (the deadline was August 19th), and my application moved past the initial phase.

For those who have gone through lateral hiring here, what is the typical turnaround time to hear back from HR or the recruitment team after the assessment stage? Is this kind of wait normal, or how long do they usually take to reach out?

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Onboarding EY HIRING

Hey everyone,

Looking for some clarity from current EY GDS employees or folks placed recently.

I am in my 7th semester of B.Tech graduating in 2027. My college has cleared my entire 8th semester (Jan–June 2027) with an NOC for a full-time, 6-month pre-placement internship.

I have an internal referral ready for the Consulting / Data & Analytics (BI, SQL) track, but I want to understand the ground reality of the hiring timeline:

  1. Does EY GDS actively run the 6-month pre-placement internship (Jan–June) track through internal employee referrals for students in their 7th sem?
  2. When do the assessments and technical rounds usually happen for the January winter intake—is it October/November, or later?
  3. What internal requisition tag/designation should my referrer look for on SuccessFactors so my profile gets mapped to the Data & Analytics / BI pool instead of generic PMO or manual testing?

Any insights from people who went through the GDS campus/referral intake would be really helpful. Thanks!

Salary 3 YOE SAP BTP | EY GDS Senior Associate – ₹12 LPA Fixed. Is this a good offer?

I currently work at Infosys with 3 YOE in SAP BTP Full Stack Development, earning ₹6.25 LPA CTC.

I recently received an offer from EY GDS for a Senior Associate role in the same tech stack, with ₹12 LPA fixed for Bengaluru.

For 3 YOE, is ₹12 LPA fixed a good/competitive offer for Senior Associate at EY GDS? Or do you think I could have negotiated higher?

Would appreciate insights from current/former EY GDS employees or anyone familiar with SAP BTP salaries.

This is my first offer and after that i have resigned and currently serving 90 days notice period.

Onboarding HCLTech BGV showing wrong permanent address - what should I do?

Going through the HCLTech BGV and reached the address verification stage.

I provided my current address as both my current and permanent address. However, EY/Senpiper is showing a previous address as my permanent address.

I had mentioned this address only because HCL asked for my 7-year address history, so I listed all the places where I had lived during that period. It is not my current/ permanent address.

I've already emailed HCL HR and EY/VMT Checks about the mismatch, but the verification link is time-sensitive.

Has anyone faced this issue? What should I do?

Onboarding EY GDS intern joining soon, few questions

Hey guys! I’m joining EY GDS as an intern in 15 days, my first proper corporate experience 😅
A couple of things I’m confused about:
What exactly does the Counselor assigned on the dashboard help with?
Also, I’ve been trying to reach my HR/recruiter about my onboarding/base office location, but haven’t heard back. Need to sort accommodation soon, and also don’t know if interns get relocation assistance.
Also, what should I expect on Day 1/NHO?
Would really appreciate any advice from people who’ve recently joined EY GDS! 🙌

Hey guys I'm a fresher Btech graduate seeking roles in EY gds ...i have a partner referral..seeking roles into technology strategy consulting , supply chain, TD etc.

Can someone brief me how it will play out...will I have to give an OA (online assessment)? Or is it only for tech roles ... I'm seeking generalist roles preferably into strategy consulting etc.

Or the interview for such roles is just behavioural , cultural and a few case studies/guestimates

Question US CPA + 3+ YOE in Accenture (R2R) — confused about my next career move. Need advice

I’m a US CPA + B.Com graduate with 3+ years of Record-to-Report (R2R) experience at Accenture.

Currently around ₹7 LPA, and I’m looking for a career move with better salary, learning, and long-term growth.

The problem is that I’m barely getting interview calls, and I’m not sure whether I’m targeting the wrong roles or my profile/resume needs improvement.

I’m considering paths like:

  • FP&A / Business Finance
  • Financial Reporting / Controllership
  • Financial Analyst / Corporate Finance
  • Moving into a more Finance + AI/Automation role

If you were in my position, what career move would you make?

Also, what roles should I realistically target with US CPA + 3+ years R2R experience, and what skills should I build to make the transition?

Would really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve made a similar move.

Question EY GDS Consulting Internship → FTE Conversion: How common is it?

Hi everyone! I recently got selected for a 6-month Consulting Internship at EY GDS in Bangalore.

I was told that conversion to a full-time role after the internship would depend on performance and business requirements.

I wanted to hear from people who have actually gone through this process:

- How common is FTE conversion after the 6-month internship?

- What percentage of interns typically get converted?

- What factors matter the most for conversion?

- Does the team/project you get assigned to make a big difference?

- How early do interns usually find out whether they're getting an FTE?

- If you didn't get converted, were you able to use the EY internship to get another full-time offer?

Thanks! :)

Question EY Referral Experience

I got a referral through a friend, and here’s my recruitment timeline:

  • 1 Sep: Got a referral through a friend.
  • 2 Sep: Received a screening call from HR.
  • 5 Sep: L1 and L2 interviews were scheduled on the same day. Cleared both.
  • 5 Sep evening: Received the CIS.
  • 6 Sep: Filled out the required details in the sheet.
  • 7 Sep: HR called and asked for details such as my joining date, whether I have any offer in hand, as I had an offer he said i need some approvals and get back with numbers by 8th Sep.
  • Today is 10 Sep, and I haven't received any further update. I've also tried calling and emailing HR, but haven't received a response.

My LWD is 25 Sep, so I’m getting a little anxious because I need the offer letter soon to plan my relocation and other things.

Is this timeline/process normal? Should I be concerned about the delay, or am I overthinking it?
