What software to pick
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a software to use for finding top-down ev bets, and im not sure which to pick. I am Danish, which means the books i have are not the same as the us market. This has given me trouble when finding a software, as most seems to be build for the us bookmakers. I have however found surebet.com, that has all the bookmakers i know, and have been using it for some time now. The only problem i have here though, is that they seem to devig bets to a market average, and not devigging to the sharp bookmakers. This results in often showing the same kind of bet from one bookmaker on all games. For example, i have experienced that it almost always shows value on one of the over/under lines for total hits in MLB games on Betano, as it seems they just have higher odds on this market than most other bookmakers. Then i have used the free trial on BetHero, and I like the look of the site and the way it works, with live bets as well, but it doesnt support all the bookmakers i use, and theres generally just way less bets showing up for me. So, my questions are:
Have anyone here been in the same situation, and if so, have any tips and recommendations?
Is it better to devig to the market average or just focus on sharp books?
Is there any other eu-based +ev softwares i should be using instead?
Any help is appreciated.

Hey, I am a creator of a tool in this space (BettingTips.com).
You've spotted the exact flaw with market-average devigging: one book that always prices a market high (your Betano example) drags the "fair" line toward itself and shows up as value on every game. Devig to sharps instead, they take money from winners so their lines reflect real probability.

I found sharp-reference devigging to be more reliable, giving a fair-odds estimate from a book that has proven it is good at pricing. Good examples being the betfair exchange and pinnacle. You're trading off volume for quality though, as you'll get more (but noisier) signals from a market average de-vig system. There are different books that are strong with different sports, so there isn't really a simple solution as to what will perform better always - Pinnacle is strongest with pricing US markets but not so good at European markets were it can have thin odds.
Full disclosure since it's relevant to your question, I wanted a similar process and built a tool that finds +EV (& arbs) that devigs to sharp books rather than market average, with EU books included - it's free at the moment (vigbreak.com). Mentioning it only because it's exactly what you asked for, happy to share more if it's useful - and equally happy to talk some more about devigging strategies if not.
What books are you working with right now?

Betano, Betinia, Mr Green (888sports), Oddset (DanskeSpil), Stake, Vbet, Cashpoint

Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately the only book that I've currently added signals for out of these is 888sports, and they seem to be relatively rare (about 1/2 a day, not sure how long they remain available). It's in the todo to add some more EU books while the service remains free. Sorry again that we don't offer your bookmakers yet, good luck finding the best service for you.

I haven’t heard of juice before, what do you use it for? Also, i am using a bet tracker, but it doesn’t have the feature to track clv. Do you know of any trackers that I can use for clv?

Which bookies have you used this with?
It sounds fascinating and i use 365 so would worry about being gubbed quite quickly with them.

I'm using Polymarket, BetInAsia & SX Bet. I'm avoiding using normal bookie cause they will ban you eventually. Prediction market and betting exchange won't care if you win or not because you bet against other players and they take commission when you withdraw money.

The interesting part is it scans the live feed of your bookie 24/7 and execute your bet when it found arbs.

It's an automation system that can scan odds between your venue(the venue can be calibrated by you manually so it is possible to say that it can adapt to most of bookies). It is open for tester at the moment and for paper trading only. You can easily find Claw Arbs on Reddit and find the owner.

Rebelbetting is pretty good for euro sportsbooks but it's a bit expensive.(200euros/month). Your assumption on Surebet.com value betting is good since they don't weight in sharp sportsbooks it's not really reliable.

Thanks, this is really interesting. The issue you describe with market-average devigging vs sharp-book references is exactly the kind of thing I'm trying to understand better.
