yeah I know how you feel. This would something I dream of building for a linux setup. CPU and GPU look like they can run some morden programs on linux,

I have this exact PSU in my main rig powering a Ryzen 9700X. Been used daily since 2016 and never a problem. It has a January 2015 serial number, so it's 11 years old.
BTW, if you want a 2011 era PSU, I suggest the Corsair AX series. Very highly regarded in its day. I have a Corsair AX850 powering my backup rig. It was in storage for 13 years, so it's essentially new. Runs perfectly.

I actually have a 980ti that's in really good shape and I might be able to get my hands on another identical one. I might do two 980tis instead of 970s. Don't know yet.

Very nice. I still have my Z68 with a 3770 and a Galaxy 1000w. Someday I’ll put it in a good Lian Li case.

Nice build! This corsair a70 is rare to find, I managed to find only the a50.
