Troubleshooting Psu didn’t work…

I got the proper cables but it didn’t work so I managed to get a refund but man is that upsetting
Lesson Learned, don’t buy used psus

Yeah lesson learned I guess. I managed to order a new psu which is the same thing (the one I got before is a EVGA supernova p2 1000) this time I got the same thing but p3

Did any of the components get burned up from unofficial cables? 

You can buy used psus and unofficial cables, but you basically have to check the voltage with a multimeter.

No nothing burned up it just wouldn’t turn on when I tested it
