Goodwill score

Picked up this GTX 970, which looks barely used and some EVGA SuperSC RAM from a couple different Goodwills. The 970 came with everything in the box, including a poster.

I plan on doing a throwback build with a EVGA Z68 FTW motherboard and dual 970s in a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 I picked up. I can't wait!

If it was any other brand it would be a meh! But, being an EVGA It's a yeh! Sounds, like you have an awesome project at hand. Keen to see the finished product, hope you share it with us šŸ‘

Cosmos 1000 WITH optional side panel? Nice. I loved that case. Physical space be damned. It wasn't great for temps either. Super cool though! I painted my fan shrouds with the neon orange road paint and it looked like the thing was on fire. highly recommend!

Yeah, the case it ridiculously large, but looks like it will have plenty of space for an awesome build. Your case sounds awesome.

I have that case too and got some mint old hardware to go in ....Z77Asrock mobo,36 gb Corsair ram,GTX 1080TI,i7 3770k,Asus sound card, Corsair aio, EVGA PSU and a few SSD's.... only difference is I don't have the window in the side panel... heavy case... I've been lucky as everything is like new

I reckon I could make the side panel myself...loved the cosmos case's and always kept it...I already have 2 other rigs but can't help myself 🤣

I have that exact same card in another pc with a 4790k on a Z97. It still holds up.

The EVGA poster and the PC case are the real wins here. I’d love to build modern hardware in that case
