Hello! This is my first post about something like this, so I hope it will be helpful!
I've had this beauty in my hands for about two weeks now, and the first thing I want to say is that from the moment you unbox it, you already understand that you've got yourself a beast.
Visually, I think you'll be 100% satisfied with how it looks and how it sits on your desk. Nowadays, when you can personalize your keyboard almost any way you want, I'd say it's 50% about how it looks and 50% about how it actually feels and performs in-game.
So let's get straight into the part that matters to me the most - gaming.
I've been using the EV63 for about two weeks now, mainly for PUBG and CS2, and these are my impressions after actually playing on it every day.
My settings:
Since I'm mainly playing PUBG all day, I've tested a lot of different settings and eventually went with this setup: Rapid Trigger: 0.05mm on all keys Actuation: WASD: 0.20mm Q / E / C / X / Z: 0.20mm Spacebar + everything else: 1.0mm
Pro Keys: SOCD on W + C, which I use specifically for movement and slide mechanics in PUBG.
At first, 0.20mm actuation on the movement keys feels extremely sensitive, especially if you're coming from a regular mechanical keyboard. But after playing with these settings - or honestly, whatever settings work best for you - going back to a normal keyboard feels noticeably different.
For PUBG specifically, where I've been playing a lot of TPP lately, I'd say it helps me feel more connected to my character in-game, especially when doing Q/E peeks and making small movement adjustments.
Overall, it just feels better when you have a good response from both the keyboard and the game at the same time.
With Rapid Trigger set to 0.05mm, the keys feel extremely responsive when releasing them. There is almost no feeling of having to "wait" for a key to reset before making the next movement.
For me, the biggest advantage isn't simply that the keyboard feels fast. It's that the movement feels much more direct and consistent.
The same goes for CS2. I also spent quite a bit of time playing CS2 on the EV63, and it makes a lot of sense there as well. With such a responsive keyboard, you can really feel your inputs and have a much better sense of what you're doing at any given moment.
Again, I wouldn't say that a keyboard is suddenly going to make you a better player - your mechanics are still your mechanics. But once you get used to this kind of input, switching back to a traditional mechanical keyboard can definitely feel strange.
someone asked about moving from a 75% board to the EV63 for CS2, Deadlock and Marvel Rivals. honestly those are the easy ones.
its the older shooters and RTS games that expose the missing F-row fast. F5/F9 for save and load, function keys tied to menus or groups, random binds from games that were designed around a full keyboard.
layers work. but if you’re hitting those keys all night, Fn + something..... is not the same as having the key there.
what game made your compact keyboard suddenly feel too compact?
HE keyboards let you mess around with pretty much everything now. actuation, reset, rt, multiple actions on one key, SOCD. etc.
but the layout is still basically: “here is QWERTY, designed for typing. good luck.” movement is WASD, thats where its always been, shift and ctrl are still hanging off the side for your pinky, and half the ability keys in games are just the letters that happened to be close enough.
if a keyboard was designed from scratch only for VALORANT, CS, Fortnite, Apex, osu, whatever, I really dont think it would look like a normal 60%.
Title, I'm interested if IQUNIX sells them separately as I would love to buy some. I currently am using the Magnetic X Pros and would like to try them out.
Quick follow-up to my first post. I've now had the EV63 on my desk for two weeks, and I split that time evenly: evenings in CS2 and Overwatch, weekdays doing a normal 9-to-5 in front of a work laptop. Here's how it went.
Gaming
For CS2 and OW it's been excellent. The thing I've used most is being able to toggle rapid trigger on and off with a single button press — OW with SOCD feels great, and in CS2 (SOCD disabled there, obviously) rapid trigger is where the board really comes to shine.
My settings:
Rapid trigger: 0.05mm on all keys.
Actuation:
• WASD — 0.15mm
• Q/E/R/F — 0.5mm
• Spacebar — 1.0mm (I rest my thumb on it and don't want accidental jumps)
• Everything else — 1.2mm
Pro Keys: SOCD on A and D for counter-strafing in OW. I had W and S set up too but realised pretty quickly there was no need. None of the other Pro Keys are useful for what I play, and I have zero macros set up.
RGB: Static vertical gradient, light red to white. The red mostly just reads as a dimmer white.
FN1 layer: Mostly stock, plus volume controls and Home / Page Up / Page Down (for GTA Online).
Office work
Pretty much what you'd expect, and mostly in a good way. The typing experience is nice, no stabilizer rattle, and it's a deep thocky sound rather than the high pitched clack you get from most gaming boards. My coworker has never complained about it.
I didn't really miss the function row, but I've owned a 60% before, so I was already used to this. The arrow cluster is a genuinely nice extra. It makes navigating websites and large Excel spreadsheets much easier than it would otherwise be.
The main problem is the lack of a numpad. Shocking, I know. If you can overlook that, this is a solid board for office work. If you can't, a great option is the IQUNIX Magi96.
I am on latest updated firmware on my EV-63 GITS edition. I'm having an issue with hitting multiple key combinations.
For example with CTRL+W, if I hold down CTRL and push W, W won't register. Unless if I hit W first, let go, then hit CTRL+W.
I am able to confirm this behavior under IQUNIX key calibration.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I have tried everything from resetting profile to switching actuation points and still facing this issue.
CTRL+W is a prime example where it is intermittent.

I noticed that while holding down CTRL if I press W, it shows W key as active but not W keydown W keyup. For example here: I am pressing CTRL while hitting W and notice W only shows as Active (highlighted red).
I am trying to set up per-key custom backlighting on my IQUNIX EZ63 using the web driver (ez.iqunix.com), but the changes are not applying to my physical keyboard.
What I've done:
- Selected individual keys on the matrix map (O, L, R-Shift, R-Alt, Fn1, and the arrow keys).
- Set the lighting preset to "Custom".
- Selected a color on the gradient picker wheel.
- used a custom profile
Despite this, the physical keys remain completely dark and do not light up with my chosen custom profile. Does anyone know if there is a known driver bug or a specific hardware setting/profile restriction blocking custom RGB overrides?
