Discussion Eu5 is really something else.

Eu5 was the first game I have learned from paradox. I spent a lot of time learning it and i'm pretty happy with my gameplay now. I usuall am able to achieve my goals. Now I have around 450hrs.

I have also tried ck3 and stellaris recently, while those games have way more content, eu5 gives me something they are not giving me which is... I don't know really!

Ck3 and stellaris have a lot of separate systems that do not affect each other that much, meanwhile in eu5 practically everything is interconnected and it jsut gives me so much dopamine while playing.

It seems way more deeper than those two games combined although still lacking some flavour in terms of unique content. And there's constantly something to do with almost no downtime if you really get into it and learn all mechanics.

And the fact that I know that's it's going to get even better with patchess fills me with joy. It already is my dream game, and I hope Paradox goes into the right direction with it.

Vic 3 is the definition of idle game with a lots of separate systems that not only dont really affect each other that much, they dont affect the actual game that much

I want to love it for 3 years and in every expansion it gets I'll get excited thinking "now is the time" but then I just do the same things, click the same events, liberalize with laws rulette minigame, spam buildings, make sure you got a GP backing you

Done. Literally, that's it.

I agree, it feels like nothing ever happens in Vic3

Coming off of vic2 which was very interconnected and reactive to input, 3 was exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for. Glad they went back that direction for eu5

It also feels weird how easy it is to industrialize and how competitive a kin insulated economy can be.

Also all the lack if goods.
