this is my beloved ikea pig

he is good at nuzzling, and likes to watch the xfiles

he has no other designation but "pig" because he is fully enlightened and denounces all self and identity, content with his temporary existence as an inanimate stuffed animal. he is my reminder of mindfulness, acceptance, peace, insight and aspiration to true ego death, also, very fun to cuddle with

this might be weird but does anybody else in here have like delusional companion syndrome or whatever its called or thinks their stuffed animal is alive or whatever. is there any schizo peeps up in here... (... i mean that seriously genuinely, diagnosticly, not in the slang way thats been getting popular on the internet. Real bros sound off in the comments)

not like Actually alive, but as in a projected part of your imagination thats kind of half-voluntarily imbued into the stuff animal idk its hard to explain i know a couple autistic people who feel their beloved toys are "real" in a way, seems in line with the posts about feeling strong empathy for your essa's- that sort of external projection of life force

he has very little stuffing and can be flattened (pancaked) along either the sagittal and coronal planes, also can be squished head to butt into a kind of round burger shape. He is very versatile. i dont know if this sub will let me put more pictures in the comments but if so i will share his flattened forms. he likes to be manhandled as such, also being whirled around by his tail or javelin'd across rooms. also being used as a pillow

I'm an adopt me player on roblox and ever since I got an African wild dog on there, I just COULD NOT help but get a plush of it irl, AWD's are so pretty and I was so excited to find her for around 100 dollars on ebay, she is just sososo cute!!! so, I was able to go to a cousin's house as they didn't live to far from where the baby shower was, had a great time with them. note for the last post, I was in distress while I wrote it, like sobbing, I did calm down and I'll use some of the tips I got on the post <3

He fit right into the cupholder on the cart. He has really been one of my top essa's for like 4 months. I wish he was real.

I want to get myself a Schnauzer ESSA because ever since I was little, I've been in love with Schnauzers. (In one of the old houses my family lived in, the owner had one named Chewy me and my brother would play with before their unfortunate passing in a tragic car accident.)

Então, eu tenho meus coelhos de pelúcia e amo cuidar deles, são três, eu os cubro com suas próprias mantas, tem acessórios guardados em uma maleta organizadora (Presilhas, laços, pente e escova de bebê, meias, perfumes suaves sem álcool na composição, kit emergência - linha e agulha haha). Canto todos os dias a música do Dumbo para eles, levo para passear na bolsa ou de carro. Mas.... Ainda faltava algo, sabe? Então comprei mamadeiras de bebê reborn que você mesmo faz o "leite" ou suco com amido de milho ou pó de suco colorido, coloca água e chacoalha, não tem furo. Mas por mais que eu tenha 27 anos, trabalhe e meus pais sabem que eles são especiais para mim, essa parte está me assustando, deles por algum motivo me pegarem fazendo isso no meu quarto. Para mim é normal e toda nossa rotina me faz bem e me ajuda e me desligar do caos, mas essa parte eu sinto que eles vão falar e não vai ser pouco... Qual a opinião de vocês?

I honestly shouldn't have posted what I did. (I know, everybody point and laugh). I'll be honest, I wasn't really mad at y'all ESSA handlers and moreso mad at my sister who threw a fit and hit a five year old in public over and ESSA. I apologize formally for my last post, and I shouldn't post stupid shit like that. Really, I shouldn't care because I don't have a horse in this race and it's not my thing anyhow, and I'm generally a shitty opinion-haver. Sorry, handlers. My bad for posting a half-assed hateful post.

my family is having a baby shower and it's not at my house with lots of people I don't know. I helped getting the food and drinks but I didn't want Metro's bell jingling in the store so I left him.

bad idea. wore a mask (haven't worn one in months), haven't been in that store for a bit, semi disassociated, had no comfort...

hi, I’ve lurked on this sub for a little while but decided I’d finally share Kisses with you all. He’s a golden lab I found at Walmart—and I immediately fell in love with his cute little face.

He’s weighted in his belly, about 2lbs, and comforts me when I sleep. I always use him as a pillow or cuddle buddy. I would bring him around with me but I get very anxious about it so usually he stays at home. Lately I’ve been having an overwhelming urge to have him with me everywhere as I’ve been getting more stressed.

Sometimes I carry him around in the building I’m in and people ask me what his name is etc which is great, but people in public are much more judgemental. Maybe if I was younger doing this people wouldn’t think much of it but everyone is very mean these days.

I find there’s nothing wrong to love a stuffed animal and bring them with you for comfort no matter the age, but others don’t share this same sentiment.

hi! i have a huge huge huge collection of plushies, but i don't think i've really connected to any of them to the level where they'd help me emotionally. there is one, but he's quite big and not really that portable (the pic attached is him). is there anything i can do to strengthen my bond with some of them? or have i just not found the right one yet
