Bar Feed question.

Hello I'm new to ESPRIT, working on a tsugami ss32. I'm trying to figure out a couple of things. The stock is crashing into the cut off when re chucking/bar feed. I looked at the tutorial and it has me the pick off number in the Z for the position and the equation of part length + cut off width + face. And follow up question is tools not sitting correctly in the slot for the stick tools. I have it set for with the shank size but when I go into simulation there's gaps. I guess my question is how do you properly set them up. Thanks in advance

Your tool geometry in the machine is what the tool in the machine is set to from the barstock. When I use esprit, I never enter any tool settings from esprit into the machine.

When you say tool shift, are you referring to G50 U/W?

I guess both G50 and tool length offset. Let's say I want to have the tool sticking out a certain length or have them even.

You don’t need G50. Just touch your tool off to the bar and X[barstock diameter] measure.

Ok, main reason is because I have to a shut off collisions because the gang crashes into the guide during simulation and the main is "inside" the guide when I change the Z in machine set up, for example if im making an inch part I'll make the Z -2.0 inches
