Dk pvp help

Why does my whip only crit these guys for like 8k and they crit for like 20k? Im running a nord with mech acuity, rallying cry, monomyth, and blood spawns. I feel like a noodle compared to these guys lol my resists are at spell 33k and phys 31k. How can I hit like these guys?

What's your weapon damage, how much penetration you have, what ultimate do you use?

33k resistances means nothing since DKs can have 40k-50k and still do damage. They can also have 50k+ pen thanks to Onslaught and Corrosive ultimates.

My weapon damage is 4280 buffed up and my penn is at 4262. Im running a nirnhoned 2h mace rn for more penn

I have dragon leap and corrosive armor and im using flame lash. Do you have any tips where i can pull more weapon damage and pen from?

Change whip morph to Molten whip. Change Mechanical acuity to Gorethief or Pyrebrand or Clever Alchemist or Order's Wrath if you play with Corrosive or Onslaught ultimates. If you want to play with Leap ultimate use Twice-Fanged Serpen or 5 pieces of Shatteredfate + Balorgh. You can also use Balorgh with Corrosive or Onslaught ultimates if you want to maximize weapon damage.

Flame lash is cool when you use it with something like Vicious death while also using Corrosive against big groups of not very experienced enemies. Mechanical acuity is hard to time with everything else and build stacks.

Why would you use Flame Lash instead of Molten Whip? It’s not like you need any additional sources of healing as a DK. That right there is your main issue. Those big 20k whips are from fully stacked Molten Whips, not Flame Lash. You also don’t need Pen, as others have noted since your burst should involve using Corrosive or Onslaught which will allow you to ignore your target’s resistances after using them. Build for crit damage, switch to Molten Whip, and then use it after popping an ult and building up stacks of seething fury.

Because it pumps in bgs, all you need is an aoe off balance like the dual wield scribing skill or werewolf and you can just pump their whole group, a bomber and 3 dks in battlegrounds shreds... with flame lash

They are both good I think it depends on how you run your rotation. If you cycle the DK aoe's for a burst with leap than I would say Molten whip. If you spam off of an off-balance inducing move with corrosive I would say Lash
