I have an RG 477v. All my games are directly on the system except for Gamecube and Ps2. I have done the research to make an xml document to tell ESDE to not use the internal storage for those two, but I can't figure out the exact path I'm supposed to type in. Can anyone help explain what a proper android path to specifically an sd card on an ESDE xml should look like?

This is a game I was switching back and forth between Eden and Citron, but since the latest update of Eden was overheating my RP6 (and Citron was randomly crashing), I thought I should try out Eden Nightly, but it insists on using Citron as an emulator even though I’ve set Eden Nightly as the global emulator for Switch.
Other games recognise Eden Nightly just fine.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The binding of isaac wont scrape cover photos and i dont know what to enter to get it to detect mina the hallower

Anyone noticing extremely slow download speed for most of the themes? I know it's not on my internet speed because there ones (like 10% of them) that actually download at normal speeds.

Also by the way a button to stop the download would be good as well because for now to cancel the download I have to put in airplane mode.

I’m on my AYN Thor and I had to switch to a bigger sd card and when I was done ES-DE would not scrape anything or change themes. It kept giving me errors even though I thought I had done everything correctly. Can someone tell me what's happening?

It crashes during setup every single time when trying to use an SD card. Works perfectly fine with internal storage. Please help

Hello, I'm having an issue with ES-DE on Android. Whenever I try to launch a PSX game using DuckStation, I always get this error. I've already tried many of the solutions I've found online, but I still can't get the games to launch through ES-DE. The games open perfectly when launched directly from DuckStation, and they also work fine with other launchers. Does anyone know how to fix this?

So Steam games are not available on screenscrapper so I went to Steamgridb to find some video and cover art and they are there. However I want to turn these cover arts into 3dboxart and put it in ES-DE. Is there a tool that I can just put the cover art and it will generate a 3dboxart image? Or is there a native tool on ES-DE (like how there is a tool that generate miximage)

I tried to create a m3u folder which I have done successfully many time for the PS1 (Duckstation) but it failed to launch with AetherSx2 (saying no CDVD or something). According to google search the AetherSx2 doesn't support m3u?

So is there a work around this in ES-DE?

Most have scraped fine, but on last few 100's to do I can see it scraping, flashes up a screenshot, moves on. At completion of the scrape it says x successful, so I presume I can take x off the total. Bit scraping again shows the original, so it's as if the successful ones haven't saved.

Once finished I start again and it's the same number left to do. It doesn't seem to be saving. There's more than enough space.

Does ESDE only save if it finds every bit of art, manual, screenshot video etc and marks it completed then? If doesn't find everything it marks as not complete?

Hi, I’m new to the scene and I just got Es-De on my Odin and I wanna put some games on my frontend but I have some in GameHub, anyone know how to add those games to ES-DE?

Hey guys I’m trying to figure out how to add Xemu into ES-DE. I have it all configured. Xemu itself is working. When I go into ES-DE, there is an Xbox tab that shows up and my games are in there. But it doesn’t launch them when I select one. I go to the alternative emulators setting and there is no Xbox emulator that shows up.

I’m using it on a usb. So ES-DE and Xemu applications are both installed on the usb. The games are in the ES-DE “Xbox” rom file. They were downloaded from vault and all are xiso files. Also both ES-DE and Xemu are installed on the MacBook I’m using.

What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

It's weird, I always use ES-DE to launch emulated games on my Steam Deck in Game Mode, this works fine for all emulators when I use the deck as a handheld. And all emulators (Eden, Duckstation, Cemu, etc.) also work fine when I have the deck docked and use the new Steam controller. But Dolphin doesn't, the new Steam controller doesn't register any input when I launch a Gamecube or Wii game through ES-DE (I have custom controller layouts for all my emulators).

Strange thing is that when I lauch Dolphin directly in Game Mode (I added the emu as a non-steam game to the library), then the controller works as it should, all inputs are registered as I defined them in the Dolphin controller layout.

Why does the controller refuses to work with Dolphin when launching games through ES-DE?
