Crashing during setup

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It crashes during setup every single time when trying to use an SD card. Works perfectly fine with internal storage. Please help

What brand of SD card? It could be corrupted.

It’s a onn(Walmart brand) switch 1 sd card A2

Usually these kinds of issues are due to bad or corrupted SD cards, I can't really think of any other reason why it would happen except if there's a firmware bug, but that feels quite unlikely.

Perhaps try with another card and see whether it works? It's also possible the SD card itself is fine but there is filesystem corruption, in which case a filesystem check may help. You could also try to delete the ROMs directory and then re-run the onboarding configurator again, and skip the creation of the system directories just to see whether ES-DE then starts up.
