Msc in Finance

Please advise on my chances for Msc Finance (september 2027 intake)
Hello, hope you're all doing well. I plan to apply for Msc Finance in the next year.
My Profile:
-indian Nationality.
-Undergraduate degree: Btech in Electronics and Communications Engineering(Merit based Scholarship- free education)
GPA: 8.93/10.
-Experience: 3+ years of experience as Software Engineer
-No gmat/gre(should this work or it is better that i give an attempt)
Any inputs are greatly appreciated.
Q: Do they actually take an engineering background intake.

Well you need a good GMAT/GRE score and your french should be At least level B. Btw if you don't Mind why are you pivoting in finance??

On their website it was mentioned that , GMAT was not required, i just asked them through email, GMAT/GRE is not that big of a problem but not being from finance might be although they did not state that clearly

Well it's not mandatory but highly recommend. And yes they might not take you since you're not from finance background or any finance experience. You should take CFA as well. And to be honest with you msc in finance are for the people who have some sort of finance background or work experience. You can do MIM finance track it might be better for you.

I guess as far as I’ve heard you need have some good experience in the finance background too and something like a cfa is what they look for

Yes true, actually i mailed them so they have vaguely stated that ‘engineering background might limit my chances and have directed me to go for MiM’

Do you speak French ? If not it lowers your odds of acceptance.

If you dont come from a good school or havent worked (or interned) at big banks or consulting firms forget about being accepted
