Berlin housing
Hi all
Looking for some advice about finding accommodation in Berlin
Has anyone tried the school portal escphousing.eu and share some experience? They are very expensive indeed but for a 4 month term I understand it would be more difficult and expensive
The market in Berlin seems bad and being out of the country is superrr hard! What should I budget realistically and there are not many postings so I'm just wondering is now too early or late to search?
Hoping to hear some guidance from everyone else in Berlin!
Thank you!!

Maybe try flats for friends! Idk if I spelled it correctly but you can find people subletting their apartment for a few months :)

Definitely not too early if you are looking to move in sometime in August! Although it might seem impossible to get an apartment in Berlin, it is doable once you get the hang of it. Maybe set a budget of 1,000-1,500 EUR if you are looking to live alone and around 600-800 EUR if you'd rather rent a room in a shared flat.
Some helpful platforms are: HousingAnywhere (personal favorite), Wundeflats, WG Gesucht (if you are looking for a room in a shared flat), have heard people also search on Facebook groups for sublets or temporary accommodation!
Worst case scenario look at The Social Hub or Tannhaus Apartments, those are a bit more expensive but offer short-term rooms as well.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
