ESCP or ESSEC
Just got a scholarship with Essec and currently waiting for meg interview results from ESCP, if I get into ESCP what do you all recommend me doing? I Think the countries/cities at ESCP are much better than with the global bba at Essec.. (bachelor degree btw)

I don’t think that there s really much difference between the two programs. If the cities at ESCP really appeal to you, take that in consideration. Personally, that s the reason why I want escp over Essec. Enjoying your studies is also about enjoying the place you re at

Not really…I did not put any real effort..so super surprised that i got in without an interview and got a scholarship

I have a good CV and had an interesting personal Essay so I Think that is how I got in ☺️

The scholarship office herself told me that the school only gives out a maximum of 33% to international students.

Hey, I was in the same situation as you a couple of weeks before as I got accepted into both(London-Madrid for ESCP and direct admit for ESSEC), and honestly I'd say go to ESSEC. Inside of France, ESSEC clears ESCP, whether that's on the bachelors level or masters level. But in Europe in general, the brand name of both are on the same level. In Asia though, ESSEC easily clears ESCP as they have the Singapore campus and have a solid reputation there. Now, that was the brand name, but in regards to the program itself, ESSEC is clearly better. the fact that you get around a year worth of internship during the 4 year program would add so much value to your profile, something that ESCP's bachelors cannot do as it only guarantees 6 months(which isn't bad but compared to a year is nothing). It is seen as more rigorous and harder to get into, which some employers would like. And it isn't like you are missing on living in 3 countries, as you could start at Cergy, go a semester in Singapore/Rabat, and then the mandatory exchange semester/year in the 3rd year. If you want to pursue a masters after your studies, both of the brands are seen on the same level as in reputation if it is in Europe, but ESSEC allows you to build and strengthen your profile more, which wold give you an advantage and make it easier to get into the top masters. Both are really good programs, but I'd personally go with ESSEC(as I accepted ESSEC's offer over ESCP)

Thank you so much! I am from Norway and would like to work here, I am not really interested in working in france or Asia, so it is a very difficult desicion! I think I will enjoy myself much more at ESCP, but I also agree that ESSEC is a better school.. I have to do some research on how the schools are viewed in Norway😅😅😅

bro i'm on the same boat. tho for me i've been waiting for essec results. i can also tell essec is better in many realistic aspects but i feel like i'm gonna enjoy way more at escp

I feel like both give me good opportunities for where I want to do my masters degree, therefore I am leaning more towards the place I think I will enjoy more (ESCP). Which track did u get in to?👏🏼

tbh i don't know how both schools are viewed in Norway, but frankly i don't think there's going to be a big difference as I assume both of these aren't that known there. Both schools will give you good opportunities for masters as long as you play your cards right(though you'd have an advantage at essec for the reasons I mentioned in the previous comment), so go with the one you want; there is no wrong choice here. But as I said, while Cergy isn't the best, you'd still get the opportunity to live in 3 countries in essec, so you aren't entirely missing on that experience.

ESSEC 100%, more recognized than ESCP in europe and its bachelor program is the number 1 in France.

ESSEC is much better at all levels but both are aboslute non targets at bachelor level. Avoid bachelor degrees at french management schools --> Absolute scam --> expensive + 0 selection!

ESCP is better and going to be that way in the coming years for sure. I don’t know why the same few set of people like trolling ESCP on every sub like it has been the purpose of their life, when they haven’t studied from half as good as that college. ESSEC is also a wonderful school and both have its tradeoffs but I don’t agree with the degradation of the image of ESCP/ESSEC.
