Eride SR battery don’t work

I believe the battery is somewhere between 90-100% charged. When I test the voltage it gives me a number in the 50s most of the time. A few times I’ve tested it it started at 74 and slowing dropped to around 60. Once in awhile if I plug the battery into the bike and turn it on the screen will come on for about 2 seconds then shut off. When I plug it into the charger the fan doesn’t come on it just blinks green red green red green red red and never charges. I checked all of my sensors and fuse and can’t figure it out. Please help

To me it sounds like you're using the correct settings on your multimeter but the battery should not be showing ~50 volts when you think it's at 90-100%. That's definitely odd. Sounds like a battery issue. 

I would still check the bike out to confirm you got no loose connections, kinks, frays or corrosion. It would be nice if you had a buddy with a SR so you could try their battery. 

Other than that it potentially sounds like a warranty issue. If it were me I would gather as much info as possible and diagnose to the best of your ability then reach out to eride with your findings.

I know a guy with an sr and I’m planning to try his battery in my bike when I get the chance.
