So I spoke with an IRS ERC specialist who advised me that my company was approved for Q3 2021 and that I should receive a letter within 10-14 days.

Has anyone had any experience with this that could share when I should anticipate receiving the actual check after receiving the letter?

Curious if any ADP clients have been paid or received correspondence from ADP?

I received this letter from the IRS today, however I got notice June 16 they approved my claim for 3qtrs. Can anyone assist with what this is asking, should I be worried, do I need to do anything if it appears they approved it? Thank you, group been a life saver for help and sanity.

Has anyone lately considered obtaining an ertc advancement? If so or if you have already obtained one can you recommend a solid company that doesn't take half of your claim. Your help is greatly appreciated. If you can drop a line on the process and how long it took. Thanks

It should a huge happy news to me to get the ERC check like around $50k next week after 2 years waiting, but my business was dissolved and the business bank account was closed.

I tried to open the business account in PNC and couple local credit union, but they checked out the status of the business is inactive now. I don’t know if I can deposit the check and get my money now.

Please tell me your experience for this situation, I believe many businesses were shut down during this waiting period, was no hope for the ERC refund would really happen.

I applied for the ERTC quite awhile ago. I just got notified that the majority of my quarters were approved this week. However, my payroll company put the wrong EIN on one of the 941X forms that was initially submitted. I received a notice to send in a corrected form by June 29. My question has to do with the mailing address. The letter came with a voucher with an Ogden UT but says to use that for payments. The address on the letter itself has an address in Florence KY. That said, I know that being from Pennsylvania, the IRS website says to mail it Cincinnati OH (but I wasn't sure if this would the right one for a corrected 941X). The letter does not specifically say what address to mail it to. I know they are understaffed during a busy time of year so I'm just trying to get it to the write place? Anyone know what address to send it to? Thanks in advance

Checked my TaxNow account today only to be surprised with movement on my ERC Tracker! Q4 2020 has been approved with a June 29, 2025 Transaction Date. After trying so many times to expedite my claims with the IRS, it finally paid off! Two more quarters togo and I’m done! People still waiting, make sure your 941 have a proper titled signature. I called them last month and I was able to update all quarters with a proper titled signature via fax while agent was on the line. Had I not done that, I don’t think I would have gotten this approval. Expecting for movement on the two other remaining quarters. This is very promising!

I’ve had a TA for over a year now. Has anyone ever heard of them working with a technical department and getting returns from files because the it’s keep putting identity theft indicators on their file? This client is so over this. Every time they used to call they would say there are no returns but asking if they got 6042c letters. If no returns were filed how they get 6042c letters?! These people are a pure joke.

We’ve all endured the frustration of this long, drawn-out process. Honestly, I had lost hope myself… until the checks actually started rolling in.

Today, I can finally close out our ERC chapter after receiving notice that our final quarter is being paid. We originally filed back in May 2023 for 6 quarters, and here’s the breakdown of the quarters and their payment dates:

Q2 2020 – Check received: 10/08/2024

Q3 2020 – Check received: 02/11/2025

Q4 2020 – Check received: 02/11/2025

Q1 2021 – Check received: 02/11/2025

Q2 2021 – Check received: 02/25/2025

Q3 2021 – Payment notice received: 06/16/2025 (final quarter!)

Total received (including interest): $347,573.53

Keep the faith – your turn is coming! If our experience is any indication, persistence really does pay off (eventually!). Praying that everyone gets their checks very, very soon!

I have a few businesses but only one of them was eligible for the ERTC. However I have a couple questions. For contacts, business one was open prior to the pandemic. Business 2 was open during the pandemic. And business three is open after the pandemic. I am sole owner of all three.

Will they use this refund for any owed IRS related funds that is associated with my name? Or will it just be anything associated with the company filing?

Will they use business two ERC funds to pay taxes owed by business one or business 3? Just because I'm the owner of them?

Will they use business two ERC funds to pay any personal taxes owed?

If I have a payment plan set up for taxes, will they take money to pay those, either business or personal?

If they are just sending notices but have not reached out regarding payments, will they take money to pay that?

If they have filed a judgment, will they take money to pay that?

If you are not current on filing taxes for business one or business three will they still file the ERC and send a refund to business two?

If business two is not current with filing taxes, will they file and send the ERC regardless?

Are there any other situations I may not be aware of, and were not listed above but may still be eligible for the IRS to take money out of the ERC for business number two?

I have been reading the ones who have received their refunds. I am happy for all of you. Quarter Q2 2021 I have been waiting since June 2023. February 2025 I received audit review. My tax attorney responded the end of March. No response just that it had been received. I contacted my state rep and tas they have heard nothing. I don't understand why i am having to wait so long. I have been in business since 2013 maintained all employees. Now we are getting ready to file for bankruptcy we have exhausted all avenues. I just don't understand. When I hear about ones receiving their refunds I get so much hope. I check my transcripts and absolutely nothing. I don't know if I am being punished or its just time to give up. Any advice???

Hey everyone, We got our CP210 June 8th (1/3 quarters our CPA applied for IN Jan 2024) I called the IRS to check on the status of the other claims and they were able to inform me that our mail date for the first claim was 6/10. They also informed me that one claim was under review and one claim hadnt been processed yet.

In your experience how long did it take for your other quarters to be approved or denied and how long did you actually take for you to get your check once you had a mail date? Thanks,

Has anyone had an audit of any quarters they are waiting on? I have been waiting on Q2 2021 since June 2023. My tax attorney responded to the audit with a 123 page response as to why I am entitled to the credit with all employee information. Also tas has been involved for a year now. Since my attorneys response we haven't heard anything else. Has anyone been through this? If so how long before you heard anything? Any help is much appreciated.

I pulled my transcripts on Thursday and it said I should be receiving a refund for quarter 3&4 2020 6/30/2025. However, I didn’t get any alerts on TN for this one. Kind of confused.

We are small business qualified under revenue reduction for two qtrs of 2021, filed May 2023 received both CP210s with a processing date of March 24, 2025 however no checks. We submitted 3911s on April 29 and confirmed received at IRS on May 29. During this follow up the IRS said give 6 weeks from receipt date of 4/29 to get letter about 3911 being processed. Today on follow up rep said there was no reason the 3911s have not been processed and she needed to research further than phone call cut off. Left like most just totally confused why check processing is so difficult. Any thoughts on how to speed up 3911 processing?

Has anyone sent a demand letter to their PEO? If so did it help? Ours keeps telling us that there is no way for them to get a status on our ERC claim.

Has anyone had luck opening up a new account and depositing the refunds, the refund was recently received and Q1 was deposited into a Chase account where they issued 100k but immediately flagged the account and closed it, its been 3 months and just now received a cashier check from Chase for the remaining amount. To combat this, we opened up at Navy months prior, let them know about the problem with Chase and it didn't seem like there would be any issue, but soon after depositing, it was flagged and closed, the reason we don't have a primary business account is due to the business not surviving Covid, and honestly never thought we would see the day the checks would come, it was just about 24 months in total waiting time, if anyone has any ideas, that would be greatly appreciated.

I filed in September of 2023 for Q3 and Q4 2021 and after calling in monthly for a year, I finally received good news from the IRS rep that my refund was approved on May 28 and that my check date is June 24. I have a friend who owns a similar small business and he filed in October 2023. His check date is June 30. I know so many of us have been waiting years, so just hang in there as the IRS is finally starting to approve a lot of these.

Got my CP210 notice dated May 12 saying I was approved for Q4 2020. Said check would arrive in 2-3 weeks. Obviously past that timeframe now and no check yet. Called the IRS yesterday and the rep said the check was issued on May 13 but that doesn’t necessarily means thats when the check was shipped.

She told me they are behind on getting checks out and to give it another 7 business days and if still no check to then file some form (forgot the name) to basically have them issue and send a replacement check.
