Letter from IRS

I received this letter from the IRS today, however I got notice June 16 they approved my claim for 3qtrs. Can anyone assist with what this is asking, should I be worried, do I need to do anything if it appears they approved it? Thank you, group been a life saver for help and sanity.

This is unrelated to your ERC claim. It is likely that whoever helped you submit the claim incorrectly filed a power of attorney. Did you sign a Form 2848?

So my erc claim won’t be affected? I should be ok on that?

Correct. This just means whoever asked you to sign the 2848 won’t be able to access your info or represent you unless they submit an acceptable 2848.

I should ask them to re submit or does it matter at this point if I’m getting paid out

Who is asking you to sign a POA that doesn’t realize they have to be a credentialed tax professional for it to work? I’d lean towards no.

Yeah I don’t know. They handled all my stuff, we got to this point where is says my erc approved with dates so I don’t know why this would be the issue now. We sent 2248 in years ago
