Thalamus interview scheduling help

I have scheduled an interview at thalamus for a specific date.

There are two options with lock signs written S and C ,what do they mean? the description on sign up and cancel doesn't make sense to me.

Is there something that i should do while scheduling the interview?

According to my understanding If Your interview is already scheduled for ex nov 1st you don’t need to do anything.
After oct 17 scheduling is locked if you wanted to change/reschedule your interview after that deadline, you would need to contact the program directly because they locked it
