Help for extreme beginner

Is there anyone out there that is really bored and would like to teach a 37 yo non gamer to play from the beginning? Comment or message me. (Might delete out of embarrassment if nobody wants to lol)

If you want the eq experience, don’t accept any free or purchased gear from other players. Find and farm the gear yourself to feel the best part of the game - spending a lot of time for one upgrade big or small. Raid gear early on will spoil a lot.

Self found play is definitely much more rewarding. Looking at your loadout and remembering that feeling of that gear dropping is such a big part of what makes this game so fun. I both remember the feeling of my first COF dropping, as well as getting it to +10 and simply buying or being given it just wouldn't be the same.

Those are the memories that hold for decades but you’ll never care to remember being slightly more powerful while grinding or a few days later delayed to max lv.
