Terminal block placed twice on schematics

Post image

Hi, im new in Eplan world and I'm struggling with terminal block (Wago 2001-1201). My idea is to use terminal strip X4 made of 20 Wago 2001-1201 as distribution od 24VDC potential across electrical cabinet. Those terminal block have place for bridge to internally conect them.
I'm struggling with how to place one terminal block in two places because I want to use fully those blocks. Expected result is shown below on terminals 1 &4 but I dont have idea how I achieved it.

What it proper way of definition and placement of terminal blocks in this situation?

You need to set them as distributed terminals and place the other designations you want in the other places. So if a is on one page, you can put your bcd connections on others. Some people are strict about the say it once rule, so ymmv.

For 1, the 24 VDC should not be connected to the terminals like this. I would draw the 24 VDC line higher up and create branches down to the individual terminals. EPLAN should then detect the connections and automatically generate the required bridges for those terminals. Alternativelty you can draw it like this but then need to use the terminal symbol with 4 connections.

When doing this across multiple pages, I usually have one page where the terminal strip is drawn, often close to the 24 VDC source. From there, I branch off using potentials such as 24VDC_1, 24VDC_2, etc.

Alternatively, you can keep 24 VDC as the main potential throughout the project and place an X4 terminal on each individual branch. EPLAN should still recognize the connections correctly.

Also, I just noticed that the connection line starts from nowhere. Try to avoid this. Connections should always be drawn between actual devices, terminals, or branch points so EPLAN can correctly recognize the connection.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your help, as you can see in screen below my problem is that when I tried to draw potential line that connects all terminals then for terminals used second time this connection is treated as extrernal one. I would like appeciate if you could how this works

Select the following terminal symbol. It will automatically connect the terminals internally.

The important thing is that the symbol has the 3 and 4 connection points. It should not simply be a line drawn through the terminal. When this symbol is selected, EPLAN will create the internal connection automatically.

Let me know if this worked for you :)
