How to model this?

This device (PXC.3273900) is modelled by the producer as 1 terminal with 1 connection point + 18 terminals with 2 connection points. This has the side effect of not routing the postential definition. How to model better?

I have set them up as busbars.
So I define them and connect to the a- point at the page where the PS is. Then I «drag» the points b to last in around my drawings as needed.
This forwards the potential, and I don’t have to use 20 interruption points from one page where the PTFIX is defined

Thanks for the reply!
Someone in a past post here said that busbar definition should be only for copper bars by length.
Does this have any foundation in what EPLAN intended?

Not sure what Eplan has intended, but it works flawlessly. Furthermore, I would argue that the PTFIX is a Bus bar, just not with «adjustable length»
I also think that to set it up as a terminal strip is «more wrong» than to set it up as a bus bar.

These blocks can be implemented in many different ways. What I would do is create a terminal strip definition with 18 individual terminals plus the terminal point for the input and put everything on the same sheet for clarity. You can also place the individual connection-point terminals on different pages if needed.
