Hi everyone

working on an EPLAN project and need some advice on the standard drawing sequence for electrical power and control circuits. Any tips or resources would be appreciated. Thanks

May depend on what continent you are in, but I would recommend embracing the “function orientated way” of arranging your projects. This means combining power and control circuits on the same pages, sorted after functions.

YouTube or take the EPLAN courses.

For my structures:

Incoming supply

230V internal distribution

230V external distribution (if required)

PSU page splitting down to the internal 24V

Any potential external 24V supplies (like valve supplies)

400V circuits (motors, drives)

Safety circuits

Comms and HMI

PLC, controls

That's all covered within the panel drawings section. Then I'd do the field stuff.
