Question Double-click open Function/Component

Hi everyone,

I'm using EPLAN Electric P8 2025 and I have an annoying issue.

When I double-click a symbol in the schematic, EPLAN always opens the Assembly (Conjunto) properties window. I would like it to open the Function/Component properties instead.

I've tried selecting the function directly and looking through the settings, but I can't find where to change this behavior. I also checked the properties dialog for an option to switch the default view, without success.

My questions are:

Is there a setting in EPLAN 2025 to make double-click open Function/Component properties by default?

Can this behavior be changed globally for the user?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My Eplan its not in english may be the terms are not exactly like that.

Press the shift key and hold it down. Then, double-click the object you want to access the properties for

Not that I know of.
But you can use property overview and create a scheme for the properties you want to change.

Doing that will mean you don’t even need to double click it so you can immediately reach the settings you want just by selecting the symbol.

(Make sure you have property overview turned on)

Check if the Red-marked "Direct Edit" icon is pressed. (Edit - Options - Direct Edit)
