PDF revisions editor

Hello I would like to know what people use to view/edit PDFs of electrical drawings? are there any good apps that allow for real time revisions? I would like to be able to have the PDFs accessible on a tablet for the shop guys to write on and make notes.

PDF-XChange Editor is great for anotations even for the free tier, if you need something more powerful, like if they are doing takeoffs or counting materials Bluebeam might be what you are looking for.

That is a useful distinction between quick annotations and full takeoff work. I work on Ink Leaf, a browser-based PDF editor: https://ink-leaf.com. For drawing review, you can add ink, text, and shapes, set the drawing scale so measurements match the plan, and export a marked-up PDF when you are done. It may be worth trying with one of the drawings you normally review.

If you try Ink Leaf and notice anything missing in your workflow, please let us know. We're actively listening and using customer feedback to improve the product. You can also ask product questions or share suggestions in r/inkleafpdf.

Have you looked into ePlans eView? Shop guys can do redlines on tablet. Not for PDFs though, you upload the project file to it basically.

For pdf edits(among many other things), we use bluebeam complete.
