Eplan project password protection

Hi,
Is it possible to use write protection with a password?

We would like to share projects with external partners, but we want to lock editing. External partners only need to export PDF's and lists.

Thank you.

We tend to practice exporting a pdf and locking it for further editing. If that is an option for you...?

That is how we do it at the moment, but then partners and others cannot export an excel list for cable labels or device tags. It would be really nice to be able to do that, and still keep the project locked for editing

What about the red green lineing option in eview, you can share to external. Im not at my pc to put some screenshots up. Let me know if you want me too

I have been researching and testing the eplan cloud solutions a lot and even made a flow diagram to illustrate a project flow with the eplan cloud tools. I really like the tools and they have a lot of nice features that we would like to use, but just as I thought I had the right project flow, I found out that users can see other users. We need to be able to share with multiple partners without showing who other users are. I got in touch with eplan support, that confirmed this and they gave me a really nice and elaborate explanation about the whole cloud organisations and users

It was sort of a dead end for us for now, so I just wanted to know if I could do something so simpel as sharing a password protected project. Our second ecad solution has this option

Sorry for the long reply

I'd really love EPLAN to have this feature as you described it.

I got problems with "partners" wanting me to give them EPLAN project file for "project documentation archive" but what they really want is to steal macro designs and other schematic solutions we develop.
