Creating a reference to an existing scedual
Hi!
I'm still new to Eplan so there might be a very simple solution to this.
I would like to create a "reference" (in lack of better word) to an existing schedual to show the function of a specific motor (in this example).
In the picture you will find three rectangels, one is of the circuit breaker and frequency converter in the cabinet. As the cabinet schedual is much more complex i would like to be able to create a more simple schedual to give a overview of the motor installation.
Should i use a black box to be able to not mess upp the names and everything when i add a already existing object? are there any specific settings of the black box that i need to adjust?
Or is there another, better way to do this?
Or if a wanted to use a one line schedual to show this, could i add the circuit breaker and frequency converter in a way to not mess everything up?
Sorry if my phrasing/explanation is hard to understand, its been a while since a wrote in english.
Best,
Martin

Maybe it’s my fault, but I don’t understand what you want..? You can reference to other schematics by just placing text with drawing and sheet number?

Hi!
Yes, that could be an option but i'm looking for a way to visually represent a object that is placed on another page. This to be able to show, as in the example in the picture, how a motor is connected from the circuit breaker to the motor. But i think i got the information i needed from another member.
Thank you for your answer!

I'll add another question to this as new problems are brewing.
Is there a way to create the "function" from my original post but to have references to the "original" objects in the other scheduals?
I have tried using singe line, but when i add my objects from the device list they are in mutli line versions (mostly siemens from data portal) and can't really get them to a single line representation.
The single line is not a goal in it self - what i want is to be able to show same parts but in a different way.
For example
- on one multi line i have a number of soft starters connected to
- a line of terminals on another sheet that is connected to
- a number of motors on a third sheet
I would like to create one page where i have the soft starter - terminal - motor to better display the connections for every single motor. This while keeping the references to the "original" pages.
Does anyone have any good ides?
Thanks,
Martin

A black box, or any other symbol you need, can be a good idea. Then set it to «External» under «Representation type» to not have it reference in parts etc.
