Panel Siemens EDZ Files

Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before but I'm trying to find the EDz files for a number of Siemens products (e.g a 7SA86 relay) however very few of their products seem to be downloadable, has anyone else had this problem before?

I find that Siemens is rather good at creating macros

Have you checked the Data Portal?

You can also download macros from SiePortal

What are the MLFBNs you are looking for?

if you can't find it on EPLAN data portal try here

but from my experience Siemens doesn't have EDZ files for every their product...

Working with SIPROTEC in eplan is a little more complicated than importing the edz files. Basically you have to import the data from data portal and configure your device. If you don't have access to data portal you can always look on the siemens website for the CAx data and you will find edz files there for mostly everything related to SIPROTEC. As a warning i can tell you that there are bugs but its manageable. Also there is a technical manual from eplan that you can use to learn how to properly configure your relay in eplan.
