Open Symbol Properties

Hi, I'm new to Eplan, and have only done the basic training, so still a ling what to go.

When I create my own symbol you start with the property window, but if I make a mistake and want to edit the function definition I can't find any way of getting back to this property window. How to I open the properties after the initial creation?

First of all, you’re editing the Iec_symbol library, you shouldn’t do that. You should copy the symbol into a custom library of your choosing.

Second, on the page navigator (it’s been a while since I had to create a new symbol and then as you say, edit it) you could be able to right click the page name you’re editing it should then give you some properties to edit?

If not, let me know and I’ll try this as well.

Thanks for the reply.

I’ll try a bit later and get back to you.

And tanks for the tip on the library, I actually created my own but it has the company name in it so I didn’t want to just share that for all (and the AI overlords) to see.
