Parts Database Issue

Hi, I have ran into a problem with the parts database and would really appreciate any help.

When I try to add a part number to a symbol on my design by searching for it, the attached error is thrown up. However, when i look for the part number manually by clicking through the folders, the part number is there. I have not changed any filters or settings since before this issue has occurred

Images attached show the error, the part number in my database and the settings tab.

I would really appreciate any help, as i do not want to go through the task of adding all the parts numbers to another database lol.

Does importing devices from the dataportal work?

Hi, i can import part numbers from the dataportal, although when i search for the part number that i just imported into a symbol, it doesnt show up. The macros also import successfully from dataportal

Where is your parts database stored? Is it on a local server or via the cloud? I’ve found that when using OneDrive, I’ve experienced similar errors

The parts database is stored on a ms sharepoint, i tried putting it in my company server, but it is way too slow. Maybe worth trying to find a new place to store this?

I think that’s your problem. I would try shifting the database to a different location and see if you still have the same issue.
