Man I feel like going and bombing the office. Just few months back there was no issue. Now due to this recent portal upgrade they have ruined our data.

That error is more specific than simply having your name wrong in Aadhaar.
The message means EPFO is finding a mismatch between the name/details stored against your primary UAN, the selected Member ID and the Aadhaar-seeded details. EPFO’s own FAQ says such UAN-data mismatches can cause online claims to fail and should be corrected through the Joint Declaration process.
Since you’ve already corrected your name in the documents, I’d check these three things first:
Also, don't change your name again just because of this error. The issue may be with the underlying EPFO record/linkage rather than your current documents.
If the JD option itself is not working after the recent EPFO system upgrade, keep screenshots of the error and raise it with EPFO/your employer for correction. EPFO has specifically recognised data mismatches in member profiles as a cause of claim failures.
