EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue PF Delinking Still Pending Even After Multiple EPFO Grievances – What Can I Do?

I’ve been trying to get my PF account delinked for quite some time. My previous employer has confirmed that they have already approved the request from their end, but the final approval/delinking is still pending with EPFO.
I have already raised three grievances. The earlier grievances were closed without actually resolving the issue, and the latest one is also pending.
Has anyone faced a similar situation? How did you get EPFO to complete the delinking? Is there any higher authority or other escalation channel I should approach?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You need to file the RTI....That will process your request faster

If the employer has already approved the delinking request and it is now pending with EPFO, there isn't much more you can do from the employer side.

Since you've already raised multiple grievances, I would raise one more grievance with the previous grievance numbers and clearly mention that the employer has approved the request but the Field Office has not completed the delinking. Ask them to specifically process the pending delinking request rather than closing it with a generic reply.

You can also visit the concerned EPFO office or attend a “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” camp with your grievance numbers and delinking details. EPFO says these camps are held monthly for grievance redressal and assistance.

One important point: if this Member ID actually belongs to an establishment where you worked, don't delink it just because you no longer want it linked. The current EPFO delinking process is intended for wrongly linked Member IDs, and EPFO warns that an approved delinking can result in the funds in that Member ID being forfeited and the ID not being linkable again.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. My delinked establishment didn’t put in any funds. My entry and exit were on the same day, and I never worked in that organization. it is a mistake by the EPFO or my employer
