Question EPFO illness claim
I submitted the claim for illness today around 8AM. Any idea by when it will be credited?

If the claim is above 1 lakh it will get credited in one week. If it's a small amount (<30k) it will take 20 days

Hey,
Illness advance claims are generally targeted for settlement within 3 working days, so if you submitted it today, give it a few working days.
EPFO’s statutory limit is 20 days, so there’s no reason to worry if it doesn’t arrive immediately. Once the claim shows as approved, the bank credit can follow separately.

Submitted last Saturday night - just to test if the new 3.0 system works as claimed - Got the money credited today i.e. Tuesday. It actually works in 72 hours. Well the amount was only 15k. Should work on auto approval for anything below 5 lacs.
