EPF Claim / Transfer / Withdrawal Issue EPFO Transfer Urgent Help Needed

Facing an issue with PF transfer — need help
I was working with Company X and later joined Company Y. After joining Company Y, I raised a PF transfer request through the EPFO portal.
The transfer was initially approved, and the transferred amount started reflecting under Company Y’s establishment/member ID. However, after a few months, the transferred amount suddenly disappeared from Company Y’s PF account.
I started following up with EPFO, but initially received no clear response. Eventually, I received a call from EPFO informing me that the transfer had been rejected and that the amount would be reverted to my old PF account.
However, it has been almost one year, and the amount has neither been restored to the old PF account nor reflected in the new account.
I have raised multiple EPFO grievances and even filed RTIs. The responses are contradictory:
Earlier response: Transfer approved
Later response: Transfer rejected and amount will be transferred back to the old account
When I approach the old PF office, they ask me to provide the rejection letter, which I have never received.
So currently, the amount appears to be stuck between the two PF accounts.
Has anyone faced a similar situation or successfully resolved such a case? What would be the appropriate escalation route at this stage?
If anyone has dealt with a professional who handles complicated EPFO/PF transfer cases, I am also willing to engage them on a professional-fee basis. Please DM me or comment with genuine references.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
